The bottom line is that the Cards will still have a weakness at the pass rush position this season. It was one of the worst drafts for an edge rusher and very few good ones hit free agency. Cards IMO filled lot of holes in the off season and hopefully they will be able to overcome this weakness.
I agree and I am one of the complainers and am an old fart yelling at the clouds. Looking at the bright side, at least your starters won't get hurt in meaningless preseason games.
Starters not playing in preseason games is a league wide problem as very few do it especially now that they have gone to just 3 preseason games. It's a problem from the fan perspective as season ticket holders have to pay for watching backups play and in many cases the third and fourth string...
I don't see him as a backup as some are stating. I think Harrison, Wilson and Jones will be the players in 3 wr sets. I think he will be battling Wilson for the number #2 slot. Odd man out is Dortch.
I just looked it up and they had 5 qbs in the start of training camp but that included Murray the others were: Colt McCoy, Clayton Tune, David Blough and Jeff Driskel.
I recall they cut McCoy and traded for Dobbs just before the season started.
Harry, regarding the wrs, what are you thoughts on these that the Cares got: Tejhaun Palmer UAB (6th round) and Xavier Weaver Colorado (UDFA).
Could they be actual sleepers to make the roster?
