At least the fans showed up and were loud. That's the best I can say. Outside of PSG at home, every single game I've been excited about this season (every game with a bit of pressure) we've totally folded.
It's good to see Casemiro starting at CB and to see Isak in the lineup. We've got a Trippier start, as well, so hopefully he's up for it. Wilson out with a thigh injury? Time to hang up the boots, I think. I'm not feeling confident, but I'm hopeful. Let's go!!!
I'm nervous about that game because you never know with Man United, and we are also terribly inconsistent. I thought for sure we would handle Brighton, even after they scored first. Our final passes were letting us down all game. It probably was the worst game I've seen from Livramento. Isak was...
I've mocked him as much as anybody, and he is too slow to be a left/right back, but as a rotational center back, he's done the job. Credit to him for how hard he's worked the past several games. He isn't the answer, obviously, but he has stepped up.
I've got to say as well that Dan Burn has been excellent since he changed position because of the Botman injury. Been down on him all year, but he has been a big part of our recent success.
Also, Elliot Anderson has been huge.
