2024 NBA Draft talk: Suns own pick 22

But he moves in the same way Drew does. Unless he can dunk, he's limited on offense. Funny, I have watched highlight videos and haven't seen any blocked shots on them. Just a lot of dunks. I did say he would be a good back up, and that he would go higher than our pick, and that we were trading...

Mike Budenholzer - Officially Suns new Head Coach

Buddenholzer made the roster change to go pick, and we never adjusted to that. What I like about Buddenholzer that no-one mentions is his teams on offense get into their sets wishing 4-6 seconds on the shot clock. We won't be holding the ball for 10-15 seconds and getting into the offense late...

2024 NBA Draft talk: Suns own pick 22

IDK. His only real ability on offense looks like rolls to the basket, and hook shots in the paint. He's a taller Nurkic. I thought the Suns needed a guy who could stretch the defense shooting threes under Coach Bud's system? He would be OK as a back up big, but at this point, I would keep...

Mike Budenholzer - Officially Suns new Head Coach

I wasn't really a fan. This press conference when he choked up about his family, got me to liking him more. I like how he outlined his philosophies, and said he would explain to the team why shooting threes has value and how they will go about that.

I like how Magic was recently asked to coach. He didn't last long last time. LOL. Of course he said no. He has zero patience for guys not paying attention, etc.

I was thinking that. Trade a first now for a first or firsts in the future. Maybe if you only got a first and a second in the future for a first now. Could set up the franchise for decades!

I can point guard ands set mean screens. I have 6 strong fouls in me. I also can box out like no other for a guard. I can shoot with either hand. I don't pass cross court or backwards. I don't jump to pass. I don't pick up my dribble early for no reason. I don't pass unless I can see my team...

They can't possibly use all those on picks for their team. They would have to trade some they have now for some in the future. Even trading for players, they would have to do a couple KD type trades to pair down that stash.

Bench guys aren't going to be the most talented guys. However, you can't play your starters big minutes all season and expect them to be fresh in the playoffs. In the playoffs you need them to eat some minutes so the starters can be fresh in the fourth quarter. Either our guys were not as...

He was head coach for Sioux Falls Skyforce and Tulsa 66ers, both with winning records and reaching the playoffs. He has had very good NBA assistant coach jobs. He's been around the NBA for years. So my question is how does a team get OUT of the second apron? If you can't aggregate trades, etc., it works the same for lowering the team salary as it would be increasing it. The only way I see the Suns doing this is if they do NOT resign guys like KD and Beal, which the NBA is trying to get...

Depending on when we actually would have pulled the trigger on Kyrie, we could have gone through his pandemic year that was a disaster, or been here instead of CP3 which would have doubly meant we wouldn't take Halliburton in the draft, etc. I don't know if he would have stuck here long term...

This is true, 100%. I wouldn't be surprised if hypothetical talks occur before then about the picks because rumors always come out about the trading of picks before the draft.
