    We probably should take an old rookie. Not sure about McCullar but they need someone who can contribute right away. They don’t have the luxury to wait on a raw guy to develop.

    Whoever gets the job they will be Durant’s 6th coach since leaving the Warriors. Only one of those coaches, Nash, whom Durant personally requested get the job then demanded to get fired, made it more than one season.

    He's already a stone cold lock for the hall. Ben Wallace is in, Mutombo is in, Howard is going to end up in there... Gobert will be too. Only reason I can fathom he wouldn't get in is that he seems roundly disliked around the league, but I doubt it will have any impact on the vote.

    If we can move off Durant and get real value, I'd be all about it. But we can't do a full tear down. Our next 7 seasons would be the bleakest stretch that any franchise has probably ever endured. Year after year of teams drafting in the top 5 with our pick.
