Updated Cardinals roster by position after draft, UDFA additions

Leave it to the Cardinals to try to emulate Nome instead of Rome.

    Zaven Collins: What to do

Just because the GM and coach chose not to pay Collins $13MM in 2025, doesn't mean that he won't be a significant part of the defense in 2024. Unless he shows some improvement in his edge play this season, he'll be playing somewhere else in 2025.

    Biggest Draft Disappointments

The pick that really got me was Elijah Jones at 90. He might turn out to be really good, but there were some really good receivers still available, just to name a few...Jalen McMillan, Troy Franklin, Javon Baker, Jacob Cowling.

    Biggest Draft Disappointments

What's your biggest disappointments in the draft. My two biggest disappointments in the draft were (1) not picking a 2nd wide receiver until the sixth round, and (2) not picking an edge rusher until the fifth round.

Same reason we respond to posters on this board...extreme boredom, lack of discretion and poor taste.

    The 2024-25 NFL league year

No matter what you think of Bidwill, it's hard to believe, as Caspino contends that any NFL offensive coordinator would allow the owner to tell him who to "get the ball" or make all of the draft decisions. This is so obviously an exaggeration on Caspino's part, but I don't think it does his...

Draft - one week out - what do the Cardinals do with #4?

The only way that the Vikings, Giants, Broncos or Raiders can be sure that one of their competitors doesn't trade for a QB at number 4 is to trade for the pick themselves. It's fear of missing out on the QB that they want.

Week 15 of the Arizona Cardinals off season. 04/15/24-04/21/24

Caspino is representing the guy who was recently accused of choking his neighbor, so I guess he knows "a horrible person" when he sees one.

Week 11 of the Arizona Cardinals off season thread. 03/18/24-03/24/24

I would think that the Cards would be more interested in a cost controlled Jordan Addison than Justin Jefferson, who will demand a king's ransom in salary negotiations. Jordan Addison plus two number 1's might be palatable.

    2024 Free Agency thread

Everyone complains that we don't resign our good players. Wouldn't it make sense to invest some cap dollars in resigning our own before next year's free agency. I could see signing Kizer White, Froholdt, Hernandez, and McBride to extensions this summer or during the season.

    New Luxury Field Level Experiences

Yea, by far the best way to improve the fan experience is by winning. Kingsbury's abysmal home record of 1 win and 8 losses in his last year is hard to overcome with nice seats.

Week 10 of the Arizona Cardinals off season. 03/11/24-03/17/24

Anthony Richardson at #5 last year makes a lot more sense to me than JJ McCarthy at #4. Richardson had a much higher ceiling with his immense physical talents. Of course his floor was much lower...definition of boom or bust draft choice.

    Chris Moore WR Signed

Not much more than a roster filler...probably a #4or #5 receiver. Not unlike our signing of Trystan Colon, Wilkinson or other deep on the depth chart guys.

    Jonah Williams Welcome To AZ

As has been stated, the signing gives us draft flexibility. The only "must have" need is for a #1 WR, which can be filled with #4 pick in the draft. Still have a strong need for CB, DT, Edge Rusher, and Guard.

Season Starts TOMORROW: What's your record prediction??

Not that it would make a difference in anybody's projections, but you're depth chart shows Daley as the backup right tackle, right guard, and left tackle but he's not on the roster, and I doubt that they bring him back. How's that for useless roster trivia?

    2024 Free Agency thread

This is a bit disingenuous. I'm sure that the Cardinal brass aspires to be a strong playoff team, but mediocrity is the more reasonable expectation for a team in the second year of a rebuild that started with one of the worst rosters in the NFL. That said, if they have a strong draft and find...
