Per Urban, game's blacked out.

So, I guess we're sending a message to the franchise. I'm sure that Michael Bidwill will be surprised that his team sucks. Thank goodness for this schedule back-loaded with home games that a lot of us won't be able to see.

Where are you getting this from? Both Somers and Urban says it's a sellout on their respective twitter accounts.

Rams game is blacked out? Say it aint so! Only bright side of that is not letting DA ruin 3 hrs of my Sunday watching him. I hope this isn't a sign of years to come.

cheap merchandise and tickets are back. I got Jake Plummer silver coin I bought for $.50 after the last post season appearance and collapse. just saying.

lockout will reduce the pending black out streak. maybe Whiz can put humpty back together again before the next games played?

Sorry about that. I saw this Tweet from Darren:

No sellout, local TV blkout RT @MichaelMailand: @Cardschatter dont know these rules. If the game is not sellout, it wont be broadcaston tv?

And I read that as being blacked out.

The Cards must've given away a TON of tickets to get this game to sell out. I'll be surprised if the stadium is 3/4 full at any point.

IIRC, the team cannot give away tickets to guarantee a sellout.

Heard all day that this game was sold out.

Maybe not "give away", but they can sell them at a steeply discounted price to get to whatever constitutes a "sellout."

I know that my district has been offering discounted tickets to the Rams, Bucs, and... Seahawks games since early fall.

Check out the StubHub listing for the game: http://www.stubhub.com/arizona-card...vs-rams-university-of-phoenix-stadium-957287/

Those are a lot of tickets for less than $20 a seat. Maybe some of those people are selling them at a loss, but not all of them. There are a lot more people trying to unload tickets for less than $50.

what?! you live there and your not at the game? weak....j/k:)
I don't know what to say, I won't pay money to go see DA but I'd get upset if I can't watch on TV. (I'd still go if a ticket hopped in my lap) I might buy a ticket if one of the rooks was starting. ;)

I'm pretty sure NFL rules don't allow them to just give away tickets to circumvent blackouts.

I'm pretty certain NFL rules don't allow for discounts either. Do you have proof other than stubhub prices?

Believe it if you want to, or not, Shane. I'm telling you that I every MCCD employee was offered discount tickets to those four games; I'm sure we weren't alone.

Most of the cheap tickets on Stubhub are ticket brokers who are losing their $$$$$$ right now.

The school district I work in got the discount ticket price emails too. The discount really isn't all that much and all it is if you read the fine print is a group ticket discount. You and 14 of your friends could request and get the same discounted tickets to any game. It's not anything that is done special just to get a sellout.
