Even when he’s covered, he’s open.
Are you kidding me, Ridder is at least 5 times better. He hasn't. He is a turnover machine. But, he's probably better than Tune.....maybe.
I don’t understand this comparison at all other than neither are very good. Rosen had phenomenal arm and eye talent and was cerebral in his play. What he has always lacked is the competitive drive to be great. Very similar to Leinert, who I said emphatically prior to the draft would never be what the quarterback position required. Though no Max Hall, Tune doesn’t have Rosen’s ability. We’ll see how he develops but I haven’t seen enough to stop thinking he can grow into a quality backup.Tune is a poor man's Josh Rosen.

Meh, didn't give up anything valuable. The Ridder era was something...hell of a job Monti!
I was just thinking myself nothing really gained nothing really lostMeh, didn't give up anything valuable.
Me too, but didn't fit the systemI actually liked Rondale. Would rather have him here but he is gone for the season so it’s a lose lose for everyone involved
Did he tho?Tune has made a significant improvement over the past year so it makes sense.
Sufficient to... win football games?i think tune will be sufficient playing with the starters (and yes i know he wasn't playing against starters in the preseason)
relative to Ridder maybe, but thats a low barDid he tho?
if tune's got mhj, conner, mcbride and a half decent o-line i think he will be sufficient to win football games because he's not playing ping pongSufficient to... win football games?

23. Desmond Ridder, Arizona Cardinals
Ridder is one of a handful of Week 1 starters from last season who ended up on this list. The third-year quarterback struggled to establish a rhythm with the Atlanta Falcons. Perhaps leaving Arthur Smith’s offensive scheme will help Ridder find his footing as Kyler Murray’s backup.
26. Tyson Bagent, Chicago Bears
Bagent made a name for himself as an undrafted rookie last year, delivering an impressive win against the Raiders. But Bagent struggled with consistency throughout his four starts while filling in for Justin Fields.
So, you think that there is hope for Tune as he doesn't have Rosen's ability. Okay!I don’t understand this comparison at all other than neither are very good. Problem with Bagent is constant delays of games from talking about crossfit in the huddle.Ranking the NFL’s Backup QBs of 2024: Nos. 32–1
Plenty has changed since the last time we ranked the backup quarterbacks for all 32 NFL teams. Andy Dalton was dubbed the best backup 12 months ago. He’s no lowww.si.com
Looks like this list is bad!
I'd take this guy in a heartbeat!! #crossfit
It's true!Problem with Bagent is constant delays of games from talking about crossfit in the huddle.
I don't know! The coaches raved over him during camp and he played okay in preseason. Plus, they kept him so I guess he did.Did he tho?
Lmao, you’re just bored as hell. The Ridder era was something...hell of a job Monti!
