Can we have more of these boring games? Like, "C'mon, we're just going to run for huge chunks of yards again, how unexciting," kind of games, where we feel entitled to win, not just happy for the chance to win? Sign me up.
7 sacks.

With "Nobody "

Gotta love that. Too bad we can't face a rookie QB more often

It certainly lacked the calamitous errors and thrilling but ultimately failed comeback that we're used to

Well I think that's because Daniels is quicker at getting the ball out. Knowing Williams s is holding it so long makes it an easy choice
You should always blitz rookies until they prove they will hurt you for it.
He may get it out fast but pressure in his face could affect accuracy...leading to picks..
We'll never know now

It's good to see that the Cards have multiple ways of winning games. Last week Kyler basically kept them in the game despite pretty sloppy defense.

This week the defense and rushing attack were so good, Kyler could take it easy back there. Hopefully we have more boring games like this.

Overall the defense is playing above their talent level. Making opponents settle for FGs often. They were much better on 3rd down today.

Despite a brutal strength of schedule over the first half of the season they are 5-4. Not bad at all!!

Edit: forget to mention how awesome Special teams has been.

Going into the game, just like college, Williams held the ball the longest of any NFL QB.

He makes zero pre reads of the defense
Yeah the scheme doesn’t seem to compliment what he does well. He’s better on the move/improvised stuff but at this level that only gets you so far.

The talent is there but he definitely needs to be coached up. Ben Johnson might would be an ideal pairing for him next season.

First possession of the 2nd:

After Eberflus announced they would compete in the 2nd half -- the Cards jammed the ball down the Bears throat burning off like 7.5 minutes of the 3rd quarter -- and even though it ended in just a FG, it told the Bears the game was over.
