typically when books having a bad night you'll see teams double kd but we didn't see that tonight

Nurk sucks. Amazing that we left him in for this game.

I am tired of the centers bringing it up. I am tired of Kd initiating the offense.

Book was off in the 4th. Refs were bad in reviews.

We are winning but games are too close for my liking.

Shout out to Nurk/Bud. Nurk started showing hard and then recovering on those high screens and threw Philly off who were expecting drop coverage. Nice late tweak that resulted in a couple crucial stops and Nurk was a beast on the boards as usual.
Nurk had the highest +/-, 16, of any player on the court tonight.

Man, the west is just such a bloodbath this year.

I might regret this later, but overall, I think the West is going to have one of it's weakest years in a while. The top end is going to be strong and have a couple title contenders, but I think the teams in the 5-10 range are going to be well behind the top of the conference.

Nuggets, Kings, Clippers, IMO have all taken a big step back, and I think the Mavs, Wolves and Lakers are kinda treading water, arguably taking somewhat of a step back as well.

I think the top of the East is much better. Boston is in a league of their own. OKC is the only Western team that can compete in a 7 game series vs Cleveland, New York, and Indiana. Even the weaker teams like Orlando will be tougher matchups than the 5-8 seeds in the West.

The West has depth as there isn't much separating teams like Houston, San Antonio, and Memphis with Sacramento, the Clippers, or Lakers.

Good w even if the suns seemed to sleepwalk through the game. This was their worst effort defensively. Lots of ball watching - particularly book. I notice that he constantly does this when “guarding” a guy in the corner. He’s never close enough to close out when the ball rotates there and not close enough to the paint to bother a driver. He’s literally just ball watching. Nice block though in the paint.

Kd was clutch tonight, even if he was a ball stopper most of the night. He and book seemed to revert to old ways. Not great ball movement.

Also, I think the Nurk 3 point experiment has to end.

The Suns offensively also fell into bad habits again. Jones had a couple bad turnovers but people other than guards were handling the ball way too much. When Book is point Book and not shooting well that rarely results in a win. I know this team is still getting used to the new system and new players but they need to keep working on letting out PG's do their thing. This team looks WAY different when that happens.

I don’t even think Monte Morris played.
