Ryan Dunn has a noticeable limp. I hope he is okay.

The Suns are the only team in the NBA to have at least six clutch wins.

Devin Booker talks about the game down the stretch.

A win is a win i guess, but Phoenix still struggling to find consistency. It'd be nice to get a wire-to-wire W one of these games to ease the load off Book and KD.

KD is already playing the most minutes in the nba ??

Here is the end of the game where the Heat tried to get a shot off.

We’re barely beating mediocre teams.

That's one way to look at it.

I prefer to look at it as: some of these teams played out of their absolute minds. Doing things they weren't prior to playing us.* These teams would have beaten 99%of the NBA the way they were playing when they played us.

We're part of the 1%.

Also, teams are circling us on their calendars.

In my mind, this is great prep for the postseason.

*76ers with their 3pt shooting; Heat with their 3rd quarter performance.

I'm a big Durant critic, and while I still have a lot of reservations about his age, injury history and character... he's been 1000% better this year compared to last year about picking his moments.

Last year, it seemed like he was either ISO, or stand around and watch, and spend long stretches seeming to not give a crap. Total reversal of late. He is playing within the offense, moving off the ball, taking easy shots and only going "ISO superstar" when things bog down and the moment calls for it. Instead ISO KD being his first option it is one of the last options for the team. He's also been consistently engaged on defense.

Outside of the first 2 games, he's been great.

Early but we still barely beat the Lakers, Clippers and Blazers too.

Are we winning because we are deep or should we be winning by more since we are deep?

For all the talk about the vaunted Heat defence, they were picked apart at the end by a pretty simple action because they refused to adjust. Phoenix would just have Beal bring Herro over to force a switch with Rozier on Tyus, then have Tyus run a pick and roll to get Herro on Durant. Easy for KD to cook when Herro's the defender.

The three-point shooting has helped. We also have better offensive weapons around him, especially with Tyus on the floor. Beal has been better too. That opens everything up, even just a little, to make maneuvering easier for him. He has a good outlet if he needs it.

We have had a slightly tougher SOS than everyone in the top 6 except for the Rockets. It would also look a lot better if we didn't let our guard down against Portland, should have won that game by 20+ easily.

Lost in all this talk about KD's otherworldly offense in the clutch is his defense, which has been pretty amazing as well. Here's a quick look at some of the sequences from the Heat game. It also transitions to his offensive clutch possessions as well.
