You just never know if college transfers to the NBA. I keep thinking about guys like Jimmer Fredette that looked great in college, and then not so much in the NBA.

Jimmer was undersized and slow. Knetch is like 6’6 and popped on a team full of athletic defenders.

I believe they said the winner of the Rising Star game would make up 1 of the 4 teams. Makes me curious how they'll build the other 3 rosters if that's still the plan. I can't see full 12-13 man rosters.

I imagine certain star players will select their teammates, playground style, but I'm only guessing.

Yeah that makes sense but I'm curious how many All-Star's there would be. 3 teams of 8 would keep the numbers the same. I'd rather see a 4th team added, which does mean more All-Stars but with expansion nearing it makes sense to expand it some. 4 teams of 8 would be fine. You can easily find 3-4 snubs for each conference now.

I'd rather the Rising Star stuff be separate. Keep that Friday night with the Rookie and Sophomores making up US vs World teams. If they want to expand that then have the winning team face the G-League All-Stars.
