that was the worst ending i can recall - in a loooong time - all those field goals - all those wasted opportunities leading to all that chokage - we ain't that team - kyler wasn't that guy (again) - petzing is a joke in the redzone and our defense fell apart too - bad bad bad all the way around round round

1st and goal at the ~4 and I don't think we run a play where Kyler can get an intentional grounding.

The refs and questionable coaching calls threw just enough adversity for bad kyler to take over.
Yep. Pure stupidity to be calling anything but a handful of runs in that scenario. Inexcusable. Even with Conner out for that injury.

The phantom false start call hurt but Kyler had an unforgivable intentional grounding the next play. Mistakes like that generally come bank to haunt you.
this

But what even pissed me off the most is calling FIVE WIDE at the (7?) yard line?? When we were moving the ball with a RB in the backfield. THAT is gonna haunt me for a minute & easily Petzing’s worst call since he has been here.

Petzing created that intentional grounding by going empty & throwing the ball on 1st & goal. What is Kyler supposed to do there? Seriously. He’s dead meat because of the play call.

Situational football says RUN THE BALL right there which a chance to ice the game!!!

Bingo! Anyone blaming Kyler & not Petzing on that play knows nothing about situational football. Dumb AF

Well, 6-11 is better than some years past - same old 2nd half of the season collapse. Disgusting performance by the offense and OC once again. If Petzing isn't fired by the time I post this message - there is something terribly wrong with the organization. And, oh by the way, draft a QB next time. KM is not it.

The Cardinals coaches are giant pssies. So conservative on offense, afraid of our own shadow when it comes to play calling, and on defense we play the most ridiculous zone coverage with 3 guys standing 5 yards away from Jefferson just waiting for him to catch the ball so they can go tackle him.

I’m still puzzled at this decision. Did Conner getting hurt forced this decision???

I don’t think we got a single sack without blitzing today.

Not faulting the defense, but it just tells you we gotta go EDGE in the 1st round next year because we barely have anyone capable winning 1v1s.

Over 1 minute to go, 3 TOs and we only need a FG... I really love Kyler but it feels like we have been in this situation various times and rarely make it. Yeah there have been some huge mistakes before, but nothing disappoints me more today than that final drive, I have just seen it too many times now.

He’s been pretty decent on these attempts in the first half of seasons.

He’s totally fallen flat on his face in the second half of seasons. Really disappointed to see that flip flop continue this year, but he’s still got 5 more games to turn that pattern around.
