Update: Belichick has agreed to become the next UNC coach. Belichick handed the school a 400 page “organizational bible” with structure, payment plans, staffing choices etc. decisions on whether to commit with UNC. He is expected to know their decision within 24 hours

Ex-Patriots coach Bill Belichick and North Carolina have worked through financial terms the last 24 hours, in hopes a deal gets done today, sources tell me and
@ByPatForde. An emergency board of trustees meeting would be needed to approve it.Talks are ongoing. No meeting yet.

He should have success. Mack Brown did well there and I would say Mack is massively inferior from a tactical standpoint, but Mack was very personable which made him a great recruiter.

UNC is a great school and that is a great area to live and attend college. I would have imagined that he could have landed a better job at a stronger program.
