Any Violent Femmes Fans?

Anyone here like the Violent Femmes? I know they're a very "quircky" band and of course their biggest hit "Blister Is Sun" is more well known for the subject matter it deals with, however, they had several other solid songs.....Definitely deserve more recognition than they've received.....

Yeah, they never really get much airplay, but they have such a distinct sound to them...I've always wanted to see them in concert, but have listened to some of their live c.d.s and they sound awesome...... "Add It Up", "Kiss Off", "Gone Daddy Gone" along with "Blister In The Sun" are classics....

Reviving a way old thread!

We're a little bit past the 40th anniversary of their debut album and they did a show with the Milwaukee Symphony for PBS. It aired on Friday. Not sure if there are more airings coming up but it's a fun concert to watch. They have it up for streaming too on their website.
