Actually, I worked in the Biltmore a floor above a trading group, and I heard worse. LOL. Lots of big pants and bravado. I guess you work in high stress you have to have bravado.

Hopefully there are some unique options for the Suns or we foreclose.

The Suns with All-Star CP3 were one player away. The Suns with no CP3 and built around Booker/Bridges/Ayton wasn’t close to one player away.

That said, the KD trade has still been a disaster.
We needed to replace CP3, Ayton was a problem, and probably needed a pf, although Cam Johnson was not bad in that role. So we needed two starters and a deeper bench. Plus, the coaching was going off the rails.

But we still gave up way too much for KD.

Not all friends remain friends forever. And not all friends are 100% behind your back. And some friends are loyal but stupid. You put it out there - anywhere - be prepared to own it.
This 100%. And you never know might mess with your friends phone.

This is amazing, Mat Ishbia would do this to improve the fan experience.

I have to believe he will keep improving the Suns franchise.

That is nice.

I believe it's the falcons that did some experimenting with this.

Things like soda and popcorn are high margin as it is. They sold more quantity of value items and more full costs companion items from those who got in line for the value items.

There wasn't much, if any, financial hit and overall fan experience rated better because of perceived value

For baseball as well - evening game, usually have eaten already. Sometimes just want some popcorn to munch on and a small soda, but not needed. At $12 for the two (at Dbacks) I will wait. For $4, I will buy. Still making over $3 on the transaction

I was just going to ask about the DBacks prices. I haven't been to a game in over a decade but last time I did I remember there were cheap options. I don't recall precisely what they cost but I know I could buy a hot dog and drink for under $5. It could have been a specific section behind the bullpen on the left side of the stadium. Further back but parallel to the bullpen. I believe ownership of the Dbacks has changed in that time. Bummer to hear they got rid of that.

I seem to recall an "All You Can Eat" section around there as well where you could get nachos, hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, and soda also in the same area. I can understand why they'd ditch that because it could be costly but that helped with the cheap concession stand since they couldn't make hot dogs ready for sale before the first pitch that would be good for purchase 2 hours later so it was a way to move product the buffet type section wouldn't eat quickly. It wasn't a proper buffet because there were waiters delivering food regularly.

Yeah, the DBacks have a value menu, but it's not that cheap. And when you ask the concessions where to get the value food they don't know.
