Ever see Dollhouse? It was another Whedon show, but had a lot of Buffy/Firefly alumni. She's in that as well.
And a fun Big Bang Theory episode. For awhile there, she seemed to be everywhere. Not so much of late that I've noticed but I don't watch a lot of TV shows anymore.

I would put Gina Torres and Summer Glau at the same ranking. Gina has been in a bunch of stuff.

Dammit Chap....

Did you know CW has an app? Well it does, and now it's on my phone...so I can watch Dollhouse.
Summer must get there later. Didn't see her in the first couple episodes

She shows up late in the series. She's kind of a mad scientist with history and a huge grudge against Dushku's character.

There's also Alan Tudyk.
Yeah and Amy Acker and Alexis Denisov and Felicia Day plus probably a few I've forgotten about. Lot of actor crossover between the Whedon shows and Battlestar Galactica too.

Well, I finished the series & the movie over the weekend. All I can say is I want more. ;)
There are a series of comic books that were written by, I think, Whedon's brothers, that tell more of the tales. One of them actually gives Book's backstory: The Shepherd's Tale.

You and everyone else. I wish this show had come out later on streaming. I think it would have easily made it longer.
Or if it has just not been on Fox at the time. Around then they were great at quick rug pulls on shows and plying scheduling roulette, especially with sci-fi.

Is it too late to put the cast back together?
Would a full reboot be blasphemy?
Reboot would be high order blasphemy.

Over the years most, if not all, of the cast had expressed interest in doing more Firefly. I remember Nathan saying like 15 years ago when the lottery was at like a billion that he was playing and if he won he was going to put a huge chunk of the money to bringing it back. Unfortunately he didn't win.

It's probably too late to get the cast back together now too. It's 20 years later and even Summer is in her 40s now. Glass passed in 2016 which you can get around by having it post Serenity but then you lose Wash too. :(

The biggest issue though is Joss being persona non grata now. I would not want the show back without him at the helm. He'd have to have some sort of real life redemption arc for me to even toy with bringing the show back.

Joss had a talent for eyeing other writing talent. Most of his writers are steadily employed and know his voice to a "T". It would be cool if it was somehow to continue all these years later. I mean a ton of shows are doing it. However, I don't see anybody signing up for a long haul at this point. I did think it was funny though that Nathan has sprinkled in references or guest stars his entire post Firefly career with people or things from the show.
