Any input on this guy?

Is he an NFL QB?

Dart passed Eli Manning (10,118) for the most passing yards in program history with 10,213. He has 68 passing touchdowns, which is 13 behind Manning’s school record.

He has career highs of 3,875 passing yards and 25 touchdown passes this season, while throwing only six interceptions.

Jaxson Dart is a premium QB name, so can't fail.

There is no position on this roster that can't be improved in the draft. Certainly nothing on the DL that should stop us drafting.

I can't imagine passing on a DL because of Lopez, Jones or Nichols.

Monti should draft BPA all the way.

Not sure about this one. A little light in the pants for my liking. I've seen him listed at anywhere between 220 and 240. So I guess we'll see .
I'd be stoked. Been looking at him for us for a while now. Great length, really good bend, and elite quickness off the snap. Dude instantly makes our secondary much better

As a pass rusher I like him if he's 220 going to be tough to set the edge on run plays. I like him as a prospect just seemed high for me right now.

He will play at 240 and probably bulk up to 250 or 255 in a couple years. Dude is a chandler Jones clone

Need a true edge rusher and two d tackles who can stop the run and get to the qb by collapsing the pocket

Yea, think I’m changing my tune to EDGE over DT for the first pick.

I like Browning a good bit, but he’s a supplementary piece more than anything. Ojulari still very young, but a question mark.
I think I’d like us to spend money on a free agent edge rusher and not depend on a rookie filling that void.

Disagree. He plays soft. Personally I like Mike Green better.
Disagree. Probably earlier in the season(& I kind of think that was because he was going against featherweight competition & preserved himself), but I think he improved a ton against conference competition.

Like I’m drafting James Pearce Jr over Mykel Williams & maybe Jalon Walker

Pearce is also 245-250, not 225

I mean teams don’t really let premier EDGEs hit the market
I get it. I just hate the thought of pinning our hopes on a rookie at such an important need. However, it’s probably the way to go.
I certainly don’t want a guy like Reddick or Mack.

Ward played in Miami’s bowl game, threw three touchdown passes in the first half to set a new NCAA Division I career record, and then sat for the second half and watched as his teammates lost a 42-41 heartbreaker to Iowa State.

Even some NFL personnel evaluators who have no problem with players opting out of bowls entirely may have a problem with what Ward did: To play long enough to pad your own individual stats, and then leave in the middle of a game while your teammates are fighting to finish their season as winners, isn’t going to sit right with some in the NFL who are considering whether to draft Ward.

Man, I wish we could get Abdul Carter. I'd also love Warren but he'd be beyond a luxury pick even if available.

I agree with you on Browning. It's really a conundrum because we have nothing at edge but soe slight hope for Ojulari. We also have nothing at DT but some hope for DRob. I guess it comes down to who you have more faith in coming good, or what player is best available at those positions when you pick?

As of today

Still have 3 other teams with only 7 wins so if they lose will move in front of us due to SOS

12. Cardinals (7-9)

13. Dolphins (7-8)

14. Colts (7-8)

15. Cowboys (7-8)

I want edge because the Cards have at least gotten some positive performance out of their rag tag DL group. Collier, Lopez, Stills, etc. have all made some plays.

Other than Browning, who needs a few more counter moves, edge is beyond bad. Zaven Collins has zero pass rush ability. Gardeck and BJ are injured question marks.

He’s a UFA. He made a bad play late in last nights game. He could have sacked the QB but went for the ball and failed. Was he trying to be a hero? The word on him was great athlete, but not great impact.

I don’t mind him trying to be the hero because our defense badly needed it. He is literally the only one that has been getting pressure. Is he a #1? No, but he can be our #2. Monti needs to bring him back immediately.
