Like I’m drafting James Pearce Jr over Mykel Williams & maybe Jalon Walker

Pearce is also 245-250, not 225
Haven’t really figured out where I rank Walker. I agree on Pearce vs Williams.
Williams has looked very stiff to me.

I want edge because the Cards have at least gotten some positive performance out of their rag tag DL group. Collier, Lopez, Stills, etc. have all made some plays.

Other than Browning, who needs a few more counter moves, edge is beyond bad. Zaven Collins has zero pass rush ability. Gardeck and BJ are injured question marks.
It’s a deep enough draft group that I think you can take either spot.

Disagree. Probably earlier in the season(& I kind of think that was because he was going against featherweight competition & preserved himself), but I think he improved a ton against conference competition.
I respect your opinion and will give his more recent games a fresh look.

Agree but the DT is thin after round one because they are harder to find and usually a tiny pool if you’re looking for an anchor whipo can occasionally collapse the pocket

I guess it depends on what you consider thin.

Potential 1st round DL.
Mason Graham
Walter Nolen
Kenneth Grant
Derrick Harmon
Nic Scourton (he is listed at 280)
Shemar Stewart
Deone Walker
Tyliek Williams

Round 2 guys (along with above players who fall)
LT Overton
TJ Sanders
Shemar Turner
Ashton Gillotte

I don't see 12 DL guys going in the top 45 (where we are slated to pick right now).

I hope Abdul Carter is okay for the next round of the playoffs, and for the draft. How impressive was the Penn State D without him for 3/4 of the game?

After watching ASU vs. Texas I am sold on Skattebo. By far the toughest player in college football this year and a great pass catcher. He is a James Conner clone. The intangible parts of his game are huge and he will probably fall in the draft due to running the same speed as Conner.

I know we already have Benson and have resigned Conner, I would not be upset if drafted him, he's a really good player. I will never be upset about drafting good players.
