Best things for the Browns moving forward. The inept owner can’t force them to keep trotting him out there.

Especially now per the latest injury news (repeat Achilles rupture), there's a very realistic possibility that Deshaun Watson has played his last snap for the #Browns. If that is the case, it means Cleveland will have paid out $229.4M for 19 games of work.
comes out to $12 million per game - not a bad paycheck at all

He had already played his last game for the Browns. I wonder if these injuries are paid by insurance rather than Browns. Owner probably happy.

$12 million per game is $3 million per 15 min quarter

$3 million per quarter is $200,000 a minute

$200,000 a minute is $3,333 per second

the browns paid deshaun watson $3,333 per second to win 9 out of 19 games - none of which were in the playoffs

Doesn't sound like his playing career will have a happy ending.

man did cleveland ever get hosed on this deal
True, but this was self-imposed. They literally bid against themselves when no one else was willing to take a chance on the guy. I was living & working in the Houston area when his trade and then the guaranteed contract occurred and it was a deal that absolutely shocked and delighted the Texans and their fans. This cluster makes KM’s current deal look brilliant by comparison.
