The Wolfman is iconic but all the love the past few decades has gone to werewolves... with the exception of that one movie by Del Toro

That's a werewolf... it's not the upright versus all fours so much as the face, Wolfman has a flat mostly human face whereas werewolves have the extended jaws and larger fangs
