Line backers? I seem to remember that everyone one here hates the idea of drafting lbs. Now it's a position of need/concern?

while all teams get injuries, the relative amount matters. The $ on IR is a decent proxy. IR usually means a more serious injury, high dollars generally are attached to better players.

Also: of the 10 least injured teams, 9 made the playoffs

We also dumped a bunch of players on IR at the end of the year to free up roster spots.

yes. not sure if the Cards were outliers in that regard

but it is measured by cumulative weeks.

and in fairness, Matt Prater is in that number

People don't like using high 1st round picks on off ball linebackers. You still need good ones who fit your scheme.

Also, off-ball linebackers are seeming to take more time to develop and their production is easily approached with a street free agent.

Maybe draft one in the middle rounds for two years from now, but it’d be good to get White back.
