How does Abdul Carter compare to guys like Parsons, Bosa, Garrett, Miller coming out of college.

I am curious what others think about the potential of Abdul Carter compared to other elite rushers (Micah Parsons, Nick Bosa, Myles Garrett, and Von Miller) when they were coming out of college and being evaluated for the draft. I admit that I haven’t seen Carter a great deal, but those highlights are just eye popping. He displays everything (speed, great hand usage, bend, ability to turn the corner). Obviously, the Cards would have to move up to get him.

My question for those who have seen more of him: Is he one of those can’t miss pass rushers? And what will it take to move up to get him?

Thanks!!

He is more Parsons, Miller and Mack than Garrett or Bosa.

We would have to move up to #3 to get him. No dice.

He's smaller than those other guys. He kind of reminds me of Derrick Thomas.

Quite a few prognosticators are predicting Tennessee takes Carter at #1.

You nailed it IMO. When Garrett was in the draft I said he was better than Miller. (I watch way too much Texas A&M football.) And I agree with Bosa.

.
And continue rolling with Will Levis? Nah.
There have been reports that they dont like any of the QBs in this draft. I know Sanders has massive red flags personality wise. He would throw teammates under the bus in interviews, and he has never played football without his dad being the headcoach. Just a very immature guy. Apparently he paused his interview with the Titans to accept a phone call from his dad.

I really don't know enough about Cam Ward.

I have not heard about personality issues. At least not of any worse than Caleb Williams.

I remember William's got criticized for painting his nails and then losing, crying after a big loss, and fake rumors about his Dad in the predraft process.

Sanders complaints are:
Criticizing his own offensive line in post game interviews.
Shoving a ref.
Poor sportsmanship, especially after losses. Leaving for the locker room before the game's even over or if he stays refusing to shake hands.
Dirty plays, poking defenders eyes, throwing mouthpieces into the stands
Insulting former teammates to the press.
The coach, his dad, gives him preferential treatment.
Minor issue, but he has a habit of flaunting his jewelry on the field after wins. He's very showy and a "me" guy.

Overall he seems to have diva WR mindset and I don't see it working for a QB. He's certainly a big risk to any NFL organization. He has had the same coach enabling this behavior his entire playing career, he seems completely shameless and unaware about how his behavior reflects on him. Can he learn to mature, or will he try and get his coach fired the moment his ego gets hurt.
