Can some of those saying they've seen some flashes of his power post a few vids? I keep watching him getting blown off the ball and doing the opposite of showing power.
lol. I won’t be doing a bunch of video editing for a message board but I can tell you the things I liked. I have seen him lock out OL with long arms and control them. I have seen him command double teams. I have seen him walk OL back into the pocket with power. I have seen him get through gaps and disrupt rush plays.

Now, these were flashes and were not consistent. He has plenty to work on. Good news is that physical traits and a good work ethic rarely “bust”.

I haven't seen that, though I have tried to watch him in games. I'll readily admit I'm not as good as that kind of in-the-moment analysis as you, so I'll take your word that he has done so. He must have done so very, very rarely, though, in tiny bits. He has shown absolutely no real flash at all. That would be something everyone would notice. Will he bust? Far too early to tell. I cannot say he is unlikely to bust either now, as that would be equally reactionary.

a tad off topic, but;

Curious what kind of access the PHHX guys have. They sure produce stuff as good or better than local media: a good 3 mins or so of Gannon speaking on a variety of topics.

I ask because I am trying to decide if the stuff they post on what the Cards will do, like:

"the Cards will be all in on Josh Sweat" --

is that 100% them speculating or do they get off the record stuff from people who know.

Disturbing someone would need to give a reason to perform such as this.

A paycheck isn’t good enough or is this just extra incentive?

Simply securing a long career in the NFL should be sufficient motivation, right?

I could see treatment by the team influencing long term loyalty but not performance.

When I focused on him, I saw a lot of the same things. He looked like he could physically compete in the trenches, and wasn't getting pushed back.

Hard to believe there’s 21 pages attributed to whether or not Darius might be a bust. The kid was out most of the year with a calf injury that really does affect bigger men with his skill set. And JG has already said that even when he came back, he was never even near 100%. He’ll no doubt be better this year & we can leave it at that.

Yeah, he's not a bust at this stage. He definitely needs to have a big impact this year, so here's hoping he can do that.
