book 13th pick 2015
ayton 1st pick 2018
mikal 10th pick 2018
cam 11th pick 2019
nba finals in 2021
ish buys team 2023
everybody gone by 2025
no more first round picks til 2032
so all of our first round picks will be gone plus all of our first round picks are are gone

4 first round picks (book/ayton/mikal/cam) plus 7 first round picks between now and 2031

that's 11 first round picks gone in the blink of an eye - with two aprons two aprons shoved in our mouth

And those four are relatively the same age, they could have grown and stayed home together. Toomani Buckets was right behind, and so should have been our pg Hali.

This is like a bad dream you can't wake up from.

Has a team ever been dismantled so quickly after going to the Finals?

This is wrong.

Everyone keeps spouting this nonsense about “no more first round picks.” We don’t control any of our own picks but we do have 1st round picks every year until 2031, which is the only year we don’t have a 1st rounder at all.

Kings magic number now down to 1 for the tenth spot, and Mavs are at 2. Time running out for the Suns.

we don't have *our first round picks and everyone has top choice over us - the first rounders we have are crapola - the picks i listed both players and likely futures are all top 15 in first round - do we have any of those at the moment

Semantics. You said we had no first rounders, that was false. I’m not saying they are good, they aren’t. But we do have them.

Plus we still don't know what we will get for Durant. I seriously doubt Ishbia sits on whatever is there after either. I wouldn't be shocked if he creates trade packages to move up in drafts between now and then. He doesn't strike me as a stand pat type guy.

Put this team out of its misery already.

Looking at the Suns remaining schedule, it looks like the obstruction for the Suns to finish the season on a 10 game losing streak is the Spurs.

This year I think we only have a 2nd round pick to 'move up' from.

No, we have the Cavs 1st rounder.

Which might as well be a 2nd rounder. It's 29th overall, maybe ends up 30th. Not exactly anything other teams covet. More teams seek early 2nd round picks because they don't have guaranteed salary attached.

Since we're over the 2nd apron and have essentially no way to get under by the draft, it will be near impossible to move up. If we weren't over the aprons we could include cash in deals which would make it possible to move up a few spots.

So we won 49 games and clinched a playoff seed last year, with a weaker roster, and then blame our coach and hire the touted homeboy Bud. Only to play far worse and miss the play ins and be a 35 win team.

Bud made Nurk look so bad, we had to trade away Nurk for a bag of peanuts and then made Grayson look abysmal also killing his value. I know this is all primarily Jones GM work at fault, but Bud is a far far worse than advertised. We were at least a playoff level, competitive team that played defense under Vogel. What a crappy season and situation, guys.
