    At this moment with the limited snaps Simmons have had this season so far I want to place the blame on VJ. With Campbell playing well he should find ways to get them both on the field on the same time.

    There will always be those armchair GMs. It's been one game with no preason games. Why is it so hard for people to just wait a few a games before spouting off "See I was right! We should be playing him here! Blah blah blah" Seriously he played 18 snaps and they want to jump to that judgment...

    Even after all this time from the draft I am still shocked he fell to us. I fully convinced myself that he would go to Carolina or New York. I know nothing has yet to be seen on how he'll perform but you can't help but be excited about the possibilities of what he could do.

I didn't realize it took 1,000 posts to ignore that you've been corrected 4 times that Simmons has played 400 snaps at linebacker last year while you continue to say he played his most snaps at safety WHILE HE WON A AWARD FOR BEST LINEBACKER. So what he played safety TWO seasons...

    Dream scenario is he turns out to be something like Zack Thomas. Most likely though he'll be a serviceable run stuffing backup MLB and good special teams player. Real good value IF he makes the team considering who we have behind Hicks in terms of depth.

    As someone who watches Michigan Football religiously I wouldn't put that all on him. He hasn't had much help in terms of QB and scheme. The ability is certainly there and would be an excellent PR.

    I won't pretend I know who he is. But from watching NFLN it basically describes him as a run stuffer which we sorely needed depth in the NT position. I like the pick.
