    Cardinals Head Coaching Candidates 2023

Exactly. I would not be shocked to see Vance Joseph stay as defensive coordinator, and I would not be very upset about it either. For exampke, I could see him working with Flores.

Would Brian Flores really be all that bad??

Geeez, man. Just accept that you were wrong, and got stubborn to justify yourself. It happens to all of us. No problem. For whatever reason you don't like Flores, and that's cool.

POLL: Sean Payton in 2023 (Officially Going to Denver)

Really? I could easily see the Broncos do that. Anyway, I am starting to warm up to DeMeco Ryans. To me, he sounds like a budding star as a head coach, since he apparently has focus on both sides of the ball, is a great communicator, and have his players fight for him. Attributes that are ten...

Cardinals Hire Titans' Monti Ossenfort as New GM

Why do you consider yourself a fan when at the same time you find it funny that bad things happen to the team, as well as that they are getting bad press, and laughed of by all other fans? I mean, why do you want to? It is almost a variation of sadism. Anyway, if true, there could be several...

The ONLY reason I want Sean Payton

If he can make Kyler Murray into a success he most definitely is.

Would Brian Flores really be all that bad??

I think this is the essential part of the Flores-possibility. Being a head coach is not about being good at controlling defense, offense, or special teams. It is about being good at controlling the unity. As Brit, I also think that Flores have every requirements to be that, and that his success...

    20 thoughts - 2022 season - part 2

While they let Reddick walk for free instead, and gave Jones the franchise tag. Really, Slanidrac? I really like to hear that. Throughout many years I have learned to trust your opinion, so I will have to re-consider my stance on Collins.

Who's your candidate to take over as GM?

I read several articles about him yesterday, and one feeling I come away with was that he might be fine working with Payton. He seems the type that make it work, and who are good creating relations. Also, another thing I noticed was that he seems really, really good.

I couldn't hold it to 15 when it was the entire season, CFL. :p But I still thought I would split it up in two with 10, so that it wasn't completety new. :D

    GM or Head Coach?

I like Ian Cunningham, who they interviewed, with a past in exactly those two organizations. Ran Carthon from the Niners might be my favorite, though, but any of those two would be great, I think.

1 – Cam Thomas showed me enough that I trust him in a bigger role next year – be it at defensive end or edge rusher. 2 – More than ten sacks three years in a row for Haason Reddick. Only one of those was with the Cardinals. Great self-scouting. 3 – They might have found something in Hollywood...

I don't know about Wilson, PC. Do you think he has taken the expected steps?

1 – J.J. Watt brought back memories of Calais Campbell- and Darnell Dockett dominance from the defensive line. He proved every skeptic wrong. I bow to you, J.J. 2 – Kyler Murray’s biggest problem is his decision making. That’s not so impressive for a fourth-year player. 3 – Not a good season...

That seems like a dream duo, JF. Also a very expensive, though. Let's hope that mr. Bidwill is willing to pay.

That would be great, RIO! Since he and Harbaugh came from Stanford to the Niners, and Fangio's defense dominated, I have wanted him as the DC.

Thank you all for your thoughts and wishes! We are very happy, but we don't yet have a date. I will try to make it during a game, so I can live text from the aisle to a game thread. :D

1 – With this much smoke, rumors and indications, I think it is fair to say that it is more than just a flirt between Sean Payton and the Cardinals. And it seems a little like a variation of Stockholm Syndrome if you don’t want that. 2 – Depression level from “heart rate 40 to full-blown...

Please let this be true - Payton possibly linked to Cards and Chargers per Bleacher Report

It is not pure speculation, CFL. Graziano is saying that it is what he hear, and in regard to insiders that usually means there is something to it. Jeremy Fowler reports that Vance Joseph is still a hot head coaching candidate, by the way.

Head Coaching Candidates who are NFL Coordinators

Kellen Moore (Cowboys), Jonathan Gannon (Eagles), and Raheem Morris (Rams) seems like obvious candidates.

    The Trade Deadline thread

Sorry, BritCard, but you are simply not basing your arguments on facts. First, if you read the CBA you will see that the salary cap is based on revenue, and unless you believe that the revenue (especially TV deals) will suddenly start to plummet (for the first time probably ever), the salary...

    The Trade Deadline thread

They can easily pay market value or even more, GatorAZ. Don't put any stock into the salary cap. It lost all relevance with the new CBA in 2011, and now it is primarily useful as a convinient excuse from personnel people as to way they don't pay enough to attract player X and Y, since many...
