Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks Pre Game Thread. 11/17/24-11/23/24

I'm oddly apprehensive about Williams playing. I think Beachum has done a great job and I don't like messing with what is working.

Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks Pre Game Thread. 11/17/24-11/23/24

This is going to be a tough game. We haven't beat the Seahawks since '21, although had some close ones, and it's a team finding itself again. They held the Niners to 159 yards passing so it's a decent defense and they have a smart HQ. Also the Cards have been bad coming off bye weeks for a...

Cards should pick him up. Need some downfield speed and Thornton runs a 4.28. Although I assume the Pats are fishing for someone to throw them a late round pick by leaking this.

    Drafting Backwards - The Defense

I think players on both sides of the ball are attached to those two guys. Both of them are almost totemic. I think if we removed either, especially if they wanted to stay and we just didn't do it, would really damage moral. But both guys are playing really good football and should be resigned...

    This team is GOOD!

This is probably helping the defense too. Cards have a lot of long drives and ball control. Jets only had 6 drives on Sunday. Keeps the defense fresher and opponents less opportunities to score.

    Caleb Williams Struggling

I think Caleb will be fine. He's shown flashes this year in some games. The Bears should have fired Eberflus last year and drafted with a new offensive HC. It was an obvious mistake as Eberflus has been garbage for years. And Waldron's scheme is absolute garbage. I think he put too much...

More seats being eliminated in 2025??

There more seats you remove, the less season ticket holders can sell out to midwest teams for a few bucks.

    The bye week. 11/10/24-11/16/24

I will add, I think there is a chance they might let Hernandez walk unless it's a friendly deal, and keep the younger Colon/Adams and the cheaper Brown. Or possible let Brown walk. With the younger guys we have they may not re-sign both.

    The bye week. 11/10/24-11/16/24

DJ Chark got £3m. Cedric Wilson is getting $2.75m. Ray Ray McCloud is getting $2.5m. KJ Osborne got $4m. That's what Dortch is going to get. Even Zach Pascal is getting $2.25m.

    Drafting Backwards - The Defense

Free agency is massively overrated for top end talent. There's nearly always a reason teams let a guy go and they rarely work out. The hit rate on top end FA signings is pretty poor in regards to value. Christian Wilkins was the biggest non QB signing last offseason and he has 2 sacks, 2 TFLs...

    Drafting Backwards - The Defense

I don't see anyone in the draft being better than those guys in replacing Conner and Budda. I expect both to resign, but if they didn't I would expect Benson and Rabbit to be their replacements. Both have shown promise. Frankly I don't think this team can afford to lose either of those guys...

    Drafting Backwards - The Defense

I'm thinking a little differently for the next draft. I'm thinking we already have a young team with some promising players and we can only carry so many more under 23 year olds. I believe we have picks 1 through 5 and a the Chiefs 7th from Cam Thomas. I'd be fine with trading the 5th and 7th...

Minimum Amount of Wins to Consider 2024 a Successful Season

I think framing is important. If we finish the season 8-9 it's going to be a mixed bag. I'll consider my preseason view and think that overall we made good progress, but that would be tinged with concern at having a losing record after the bye in the weaker part of our schedule, and yet again...

No. He should go with his board, but his board will be weighted to what he needs. Or it should be. I wouldn't think much chance of them taking a WR in round 1 for example.

    Kyler Murray Debate Thread

Been noticeable in videos in a lot of home games. I don't know if it's a thing, or just that they are right there in players faces.
