His projected pick was 3rd/4th based on what I saw. I do agree that this is the type of pick that will put a lot of scrutiny on our scouts. Not close to a consensus pick for the spot.
All I'm saying is drafting the "big name" that somehow fell in the draft was always the Keim special. All the Keim era post draft grades used to gush about how we got amazing value on our picks.
Every pick will go slowly, one year the Lions picked too quickly and the NFL gave them a warning. The league officially wants the draft to go as slowly as possible, I'm assuming for extra ad money...
Pretty cool. I think Kyler will surprise you. We're going to be an extremely young team so i expect us to have a mid season slide, but I think all Cardinals fans are going to have fun season.
I think you're going to be pretty miserable as a Cardinals fan for the next decade. Gannon has done some long and detailed interviews about Kyler that go well beyond coach speak, he genuinely likes Murray. Monti had the option to dump Murray pain free this year and chose not to. Even with his...
I'm not judging the previous classes with the hindsight of how they did in the NFL, I'm judging them based off their college careers. Odunze/Naber are better prospects than guys like Moore and Wilson in my eyes. Both are more productive and have better traits.
The wide receivers taken first...
I mean I'd definitely take Odunze over
2023: JSN
2022: Drake London
2020: Henry Ruggs
2019: Marquise Brown
2018: DJ Moore
2017: Corey Davis
2016: Corey Coleman
I would take Nabers over these guys as well.
I can't see Denver turning things around anytime soon. Meanwhile KOC massively elevated Kirk Cousins and they have Justin Jefferson. I want MHJ, but if we trade down I'd feel much better about having Denver's picks.
C'mon, it was a 9-7 season and we got lucky enough to face the Cowboys after sneaking into the playoffs. Statistics nerds say the 98 Cards were the 3rd worst team to EVER make the playoffs.
It was a fun season, but Jake was not a great QB. Even if Kyler never improves on any of his flaws he is...
4th or 5th rounder???? I know you're worried about his weight, but he's always been a 2nd rounder at worst. Worthy has a lot of fight to him, a player being sub 180 doesn't mean they always get jammed up at the line.
