    Huh, you’re right. 25th in total defense but top 5 in scoring. It seems their strategy is just holding holding teams to FGs and getting fumbles, but sucking between the 20s.

    Overall for the year PJJ and Wright have graded out very similarly. Paris seems to have hit the rookie wall but he was excellent in the first half of the year; its Broderick Jones that is playing the best of the OTs right now.     It really is. From 2011-2016 all the top talent was on Alabama, and when they graduated they had top talent behind them waiting for a turn. This year there isn't just one or two teams that is obviously leagues better than the rest.

    The coaching churn has really damaged the depth in that conference. Guys like Mullen, Malzahn, Bielema, Spurrier, Miles and Pinkel all were very good at coaching up players, even if they couldn't topple Bama.

    The Eagles have Goedert with a broken forearm and Calcaterra with a high ankle sprain. If Ertz is actually healthy he may be of use to them. He's still better than the practice squad riffraff
