Now THAT is a Marvel movie I am still down for.

When the D allows the opposition to drive to midfield-ish and drop a punt deep into the RZ, it is not the special teams's fault for netting back field position when they have to fair catch or let it bounce near the goal line. That is on the D. This is glaringly obvious and you are purposefully...

    Kyler Murray Appreciation Thread

The schism with PAcardsfan is due to the fact that he can't handle people criticizing the org's new approach with Monti/JG. Like, at all. And I tend to argue with those kinds of sentiments. My thought is that it stems from a feeling that people are peeing in his hopium :D

    Kyler Murray Appreciation Thread

Bro, I was right here praising KM for his great game against the Lambs. You know, you could check who started this thread. I give Kyler grief when he earns it, and I give him praise when he earns it. Kind of like a fan of the team, not a fan of the player. Know what I mean?

You're right. I agree that Kyler should have known that and not made the throw.

Yeah, you're minimizing. I can't count the number of times the Lions had a short field and easily pinned the Cards deep. But you're going to call it a special teams deficiency when the ball is coming down deep in the red zone and has to be fair caught? LOL, okay. Like I said, not the biggest...

Forcing The Ball To Marvin Harrison Junior

Hard agree with this. I'll add in that he clams up as a play caller at really stupid times. First possession of the second half against the Bills. After the INT yesterday.

    Kyler Murray Appreciation Thread

He quoted a KM stan who had posted a "KM has been a god all along" take. BIM is 100 percent correct in that it didn't age well. To argue that KM has been transcendent since he has entered the league is beyond laughable. This is not knocking you. I know you're a big KM fan, but you do tend to...

Couldn't avoid throwing terrible balls into double coverage--oh, wait, that doesn't fit your one-track narrative, does it?

How many times did the Lions drive far and pin us deep? I've said it numerous times, that for our D, this was a good game. They are overall not good, so, for them, this is a good enough showing. It should have been enough to help the team win, yes. I just won't paper over the cracks of the D's...

    Post Lions Overreaction Thread 2024

Yeah, and where'd our offense start after those punts? And what did our D do on a big 3rd and long? Like I said, the defense is very limited. If you'd ask me before the game if I'd accept this from the D, I'd have bitten your hand off to take it. That said, they did not help the offense on a...

I agree completely. You get a big turnover and call run, run, run, run, turnover on downs? Petzing has had stinkers in 2 out of 3 games thus far. All the preseason talk of him maybe being poached as a HC has proven way premature.

Lions at Cardinals gameday thread 9-22-24

The defense isn't good, so yes, holding a team to 20--and especially scoring (though we were cheated of the score) is real gravy. That said, the D set the O up for failure time after time after time. Score isn't indicative of everything. But, I was expecting the D to be like this, as Monti did...

Forcing The Ball To Marvin Harrison Junior

These kinds of games are why we get on Kyler, Crimson. He has this kind of game too often. We are not going to win many games when he plays like this, when he tries to force it where he shouldn't. He has the physical skills to force those kinds of plays, but only sometimes. Usually they're...

I didn't see that good of a team today nor for 1/2 of game 1. This team doesn't know what it is, I agree.

He started well but he played pretty bad for most of the game. He definitely came crashing down to earth.

    Post Lions Overreaction Thread 2024

Not really. The Lions pounded us into paste, and by the time the D made stops, we were effed with field position. That said, they did get the INT to gift the offense and got screwed out of a pick 6, so they did more than can be expected of a bad unit.

    THE Newcastle United FC thread

Problem in the midfielder is that Bruno is the only passer, and we have no defensive midfielder. Starting Joelinton and Willock together were stupid because it left Bruno as the only one who actually stays in the midfield; the other two want to attack, so it's like we don't have a midfield when...

Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1

The filmmaking is solid. The acting is okay. The writing is criminally bad. As Cheese said earlier in the thread, the characters are so shallow you don't remember names and don't care what happens to them.

OT: Birds are not real. I love you, Caleb Williams.

Problem is that people keep pumping the dude up calling him the best ever, and he seems to have believed them before even taking a snap in the NFL.
