This was fantastic. Hugh Grant is such a smarmily good villain.

    Silo (AppleTV+)

S2E1 was very good. To stay true to the story, the writers had to get creative--and they did so in excellent fashion. As to the actual filming...ugh, we don't have to make the viewer unable to see much of anything for giant chunks of time for us to understand it's freaking dark! Really awful...

    2024-25 NFL Draft Prospects

Ha, fair, although the phrase will never die :D Say then, rather, that we need players with the traits you listed that are also highly talented impact players. A team can't cruise without those on both sides of the ball and truly compete.

    The bye week. 11/10/24-11/16/24

And the disabled. I went through five of my recent surgeries denying I needed a handicap placard. Now I get to the airport and am all "Bring me the wheel chair!"

    Cross (Amazon Prime)

Someone let me know if this turns out to be good. I've heard of the books but, like Reacher, don't think they would be my cup of tea. And, like Reacher, this show might be able to scratch a particular genre itch.

...that are also high impact Big John type of players.

    Kyler Murray Debate Thread

For a while, the offense was conservative and lack of interceptions weren't surprising. That was for a while only, and very, very early in the season. To have only thrown 3 by now is simply magnificent.

    Drafting Backwards - The Defense

If Gardeck was part of the build then it needs torn down again lol He's a backup level player and special teamer, not a "piece."

And a million more like you as well. Without guys like you, the VA wouldn't have treated me right and gotten me the ratings I deserve.

We wouldn't have any overlap, then. I went there starting in '96. I was in Western Germany, in Baumholder and Idar Oberstein (Strassburg Kaserne). Looking forward to hearing where he was.

    Snap Counts Jets Game

I was really impressed with the kid. I think he had a slight tip on the throw that should have been a Jets TD, too.

    The bye week. 11/10/24-11/16/24

They do have a mega hole at DT. Those players out for the year were terrible, and none of them, even if they get into form, are a Big John. Same goes for edge, unless Beej miraculously becomes a Big John. At ILB and in the secondary, I'm excited to say the defense is looking good.

Also, hey, if that interception comes on a non-stupid throw with him going aggressive downfield, more power to him!

Yeah, I gave up on the show when it cratered in quality. Beth having an absolutely flat arc in almost every way got so boring too. She went from edgy to just cartoonish.

    Darius Robinson injured

If it's only a few games, it wasn't worth it. If, as we hope, he comes back after the bye for a good 8 game stretch, it's definitely worth it.

I'll gladly take the L as I hated the pick at the time.

I appreciate it, gang. As a disabled vet in search of a new career years ago, I decided I wanted to help fellow disabled vets, specifically those dealing with trauma. My new career in social work then started, I eventually got into the VA and became a trauma therapist (amongst other things)...
