    Had my first impossible burger (a slider) the other day. First time I legitimately could not tell the difference. DCR didn't either (until after I told him what it was).

    Seems silly to me to not eat figs because of being vegan. While figs are planted and harvested by humans, the wasps would die if the figs were in the wild. It's just nature. But, what do I know, I'm not vegan (but you can still ask me anything if you want to) :)

    I tried a Beyond burger at Carl's Jr today. I thought it was a perfectly acceptable meat substitute. The other 3 in my family that tried a bite said it had a "funny taste" that they couldn't really articulate.
