    What the Cards Lack

Caring and looking inward to ones self are two different things. You can go to dinners, watch film with your backup QB and show you care about your teammates but that doesn't translate to looking at ones self and deciding what it is you need to improve upon.

    What the Cards Lack

No, not really when we all know any player can get hot and/or lucky for a short period of time.

Looks Like Garoppolo is Out for the Season

Considering they are down to one QB, they need a warm body just to throw out there if Purdy get injured. I would imagine the picking are slim to none out there right now.

    What the Cards Lack

Agree, KK is not the answer and never will be. Murray is going to be around at least two more years unless some team really thinks they can resurrect him and are willing to give up quite a bit for him and that Keim is willing to admit it was a mistake to draft him in the first place. Kingsbury...

    What the Cards Lack

There has been a lot of talk about getting Murray a better coach/es to make Murray a better player. What has Murray done over the 4 years now to make himself a better player? The same inconsistencies/inadequacies/deficiencies in Murray's game are still there in year four as they were in year...

4 Cardinals who have exceeded expectations in 2022

I really don't see Zach Allen as exceeding expectations. Has he improved from last year, definitely. I think he has steadily improved each year and those improvements have been pretty linear to me. I think having Watt along side him has helped his play from last year because Watt does garner...

Exactly yet Berhalter was asking them to provide that purpose, however it doesn't mean you can't massage your formation to provide scoring by other means. If you don't have a target forward who can turn on goal and create a shot or who can distribute the ball to someone else making a run into...

It still comes down to not getting our eleven best on the field at the same time. I don't think any team sees Wright, Morris, Sargent or Ferreira up top as dangerous scoring threats.

    2022 World Cup Thread

I'm just frustrated right now and I think Berhalter is a sub standard coach. Here is an example, he played a 4-3-3 formation. I wondered why when it keeps players on the bench who should be on the field. The team's strength right now is an over abundance of capable midfielders so why not play...

Set pieces and corners were crap throughout the entire tournament. Why Berhalter has Pulisic taking those is beyond my comprehension. First goal totally on Adams not getting back on defense, second goal on Dest for ball watching instead of being aware of where his mark was. Third goal total...

Can you imagine the chaos if all three teams played to draws with the same score in each game. No goal differential, no most goals scored and no head to head advantage.

I kind of like the 16-3 team grouping, it makes for these games being more important and wins more important instead of playing for draws. The problem with it is one of the teams playing the first game gets more time off between games than the other two teams do. That is an inherent advantage...

I have a better one for you. I had one of my players trip a player and she got called for the foul. The other girl then got up and threw an elbow to the face of my player. The ref called nothing on the other player no card, nothing. When I approached her about it, the ref told me you only...

That is damn close. There is the tiniest bit of the ball still on the line which means the ball is still in play. As a soccer referee for 10 years I always found it amazing how often a ball would be called out as soon as the bottom of the ball was no longer touching the line by other refs...

The US needs a striker that other teams need to account for and have cause for concern. Right now we don't have that, someone who forces the defense to be aware of his presence and where he is on the pitch.

6'6 QB prospects with big arms

In a couple years Drew Allar, Penn State, 6'-5" 240 lbs. Cannon for an arm with touch and he can run a QB sneak. The only thing that can ruin him is James Franklin, the HC who has been known to ruin perfectly good QBs.
