    Probably because a jump from 3-13-1 to 9-8 (after starting 1-6) over one year is a solid trajectory? Will it continue past where they currently are? That's TBD, of course. But I fail to see how one could think it's "weird" to want something similar.

    Not great. But Wypler in the 3rd would have been absolutely terrible value based on the fact no one else wanted him until the 7th. So injured player with upside or a 4 round reach on a guy? Guess I’ll take the upside.

    Value based on what though? Many were clamoring for Wypler in the 3rd. He went in the 7th. I don’t know if many have an actual grasp on the relative “value” of players from like the 3rd round on.
