    Ball placement matters. There’s a reason they call football a game of inches. Where the ball is matters. The very best quarterbacks don’t impede or slow their receivers progress on move routes, they put the ball where they can not break stride.

    Except he’s only on a pace for 948.6. He would have jump his 55 yards per game up to 76 yards per game over the final 12 games to reach 1200 for the season. Doable, but likely?     A) I don’t think we’ve seen bol’s ceiling B) oso likely only starts for a really dreadful team. Not a rim protector and not a big rebounder. We are in trouble if he’s our starting center imo. At any juncture of his career. Happy to be proven wrong.

    Maybe his linemen can’t move as is required for same? Not a knowledge based comment, just a food for thought question. Hernandez, Fro and brown are road graders for run blocking. Maybe they aren’t suited for roll outs?

    Rice is a different era altogether. The others are worthwhile comps. But also note that MHJ is the lowest among them. If you project all them over 17 games MHJ comes in 200 yards behind chase, 300 behind CeeDee and 400 behind jJ. So that difference is significant.
