    I'm okay with any of the three. If Flores is the guy it will be interesting to see who is brought in as the OC. Same for Anarumo. With Kafka the big question will be who is the DC. Question marks for all three, but I think Anarumo is probably the safest pick, and least likely to flame out.

    Lots of speculation here. We have no way of knowing that the compensation for Payton was finalized before the interview. Maybe there was still room for negotiation and it didn't work out. Nobody really knows.

    Third explanation: 3. Bidwill and Ossenfort decided that the draft choice compensation for Payton was too high and the organization was better off holding on to the draft choices and hiring another well qualified coach. I'm not sure this is a bad thing when viewing the organization.
