Cardinals at Cowboys gameday thread 1-2-2022

My bet is Beachum at left tackle, Josh Jones at right tackle and Max Garcia at right guard.

    2022 Draft Needs

Agree, without Hopkins we're going to have to depend on Conner and Edmonds for the lions share of our offense. We'll go as far as our ability to utilize those two effectively in the playoffs.

    2022 Draft Needs

I'm usually all over the upcoming draft and Cardinal roster needs this time of year, but with this year's team it was different....until it wasn't. I was so excited about the Cardinals being in the playoffs and potentially the Superbowl that I wasn't even thinking of the draft. Well after the...

    Goff Tests Positive for COVID-19

The real surprise is that none of these players have tested positive for PED's after playing the Cards, because they all look like world-beaters when they play against us.

So What’s Wrong With Kyler Murray?

Cam Turner is the quarterbacks coach, so I guess you're saying that either he's not up to the task or Murray isn't listening. I do think that Hopkins was a security blanket for Murray. His "go to" guy when he needed a first down or in the red zone. I'm hoping that both Murray and Kingsbury...

    Rams @ Cardinals postgame thread

We got beat in the trenches on both sides of the ball. The interior of our offensive line was atrocious, giving up pressure all night and unable to open up any running lanes. The defensive line was nearly as bad, getting gashed on running plays in the first half and not mounting much of a pass...

    Collins

In the game action available for Collins, I see athletic ability and linebacking instincts. You don't. Maybe my talent recognition is better than yours, maybe not. One of us is right and one of us is wrong. That's what makes horseracing. Stay tuned.

Wk 13-Arizona Cardinals @ Chicago Bears Pre Game Thread 11/29/21-12/4/21

Early weather projection is mid-thirties and clear. Not too bad for a December game in Chicago.

Meaningful Cardinal games in December....am I dreaming???

Yea, it's called PTCD(Post Traumatic Cardinal Syndrome), and along with it comes the belief that behind every silver lining is a cloud. Years of losing just always makes me fear the worst.

Kyler is feeling better and hoping to play....

If they're 100% recovered from injury, both will play. The tricky part is, if they are close to 100% recovered and the medical staff believes another week off will get them to 100%, then I believe the decision will be to sit them another week.

    Sunday Games: 11/28

This Indy defense is no joke. Right now they are one of the best teams in football.

Meaningful Cardinal games in December....am I dreaming???

I've been following the Cardinals since the early 70's in St. Louis, so that's a lot of bad football to consider. Other than the Coryell years in St. Louis and the Arians years in Arizona, I don't remember too many stretches of consistent playoff football. Maybe I'm traumatized by all the...

Meaningful Cardinal games in December....am I dreaming???

Most often this time of the year I'm thinking about draft position and how the Cardinals can improve next year, but this year is different. As a Cardinal fan, all I ever hope for at the beginning of the season is for the Cardinals to be relevant and "in the playoff hunt" in November and...

    Collins

I just go by what I see on the field. Granted, I only have a limited amount of playing time to assess, but I stand by my belief in Zaven Collins as a future quality player. Full disclosure...I also thought Josh Rosen was our QBOF and opposed the drafting of Murray, so there's that.

    Collins

I was at the game against Green Bay and saw Collins go out during the first defensive series with a very obvious hurt shoulder. He received medical attention on the sideline and it was the same shoulder he had hurt earlier in the year. There's no doubt in my mind that his injured shoulder has...

    Is Murray a wuss?

Were you at the game in Seattle, because I watched the whole game on TV and did not notice Kyler limping on the sideline? I saw some footage earlier in the week of him practicing and it didn't look like he was limping at all.

    Snap Counts vs. Seattle

We started the game with Sean Harlow at left guard and Max Garcia at right guard. Josh Jones did not start. I think he came in for Garcia some time in the third quarter. Garcia had a rough game, so I'm not sure if Jones came in due to Garcia's poor play or a minor injury to Garcia.

Week 9 Snap Counts and Thoughts

I actually think Vallejo is better in coverage, faster and more instinctive than Hicks. Apparently, what he doesn't have is Hicks' command of the defense and ability to be an on field coach.

    Speaking of the 49ers

Murphy, Baker, Thompson, and Simmons are all explosive hitters. Wait til Zaven Collins gets up to speed, because he's another guy that will pop people

Week 9 Snap Counts and Thoughts

Yea, Vallejo missed two tackles, but he has great instincts and the speed to make splash plays. I've often wondered why he's never solidified a starting position.

    Dump the State of Wisconsin

Maybe it was that obnoxious "Go Pack Go" chant, but at the end of the game, I actually turned to my two sons and said that I disliked the Packers more than I disliked the Lambs, Seachickens, and Forty-whiners. So the question is, which fans are the most obnoxious...Seattle, San Francisco, or...

If you wanted DL trade options, here are some.

If there is one position group on the team where we have the depth to overcome losing an impactful starter, it is the defensive line. When we get Corey Peters and Rashad Lawrence back, we'll be fine and we'll still have a good defensive line. Granted, Watt is a big loss, but it's not necessary...

Week 6 - Snap Counts and Thoughts

It appeared that Zaven Collins hurt his shoulder making a tackle on one of the first few defensive snaps. That might have affected his availability for the rest of the game.

Kliff Tested Positive for COVID, won't coach Sunday

If Kugler is calling the plays, I wonder if he'll put on the skinny jeans, ditch the socks and sport the sunglasses for the game. What a sight that would be.
