    Vallejo was all over the place and had a whale of a game, which begs the question, why the hell hasn't he played before the last 3 quarters of the last game? He looks better than Hicks to me. He's certainly much faster on defense and makes our defense faster.

    Agree with Chopper that 8-10 million per year has to be the max for Peterson. I assume the Cards will put an offer on the table in the neighborhood of 25-30 million for 3 years, and that some team will give him a better offer, so he walks.

    I'm obviously hoping the Cards win, and think we have a reasonable chance to win, now that the Rams offense is missing some of their firepower. My concern is that the strongest part of the Rams team this year is their defense, and the Rams have not "lost all of its weapons" on their defense...

    This is absurd. I didn't say the Cardinals are worse than the Jets. The Jets are 2-13, and the Cardinals are 8-7. Losing to a team that was previously upset by a crappy team, doesn't make you worse than the crappy team.

    I agree with PACardsFan. This Rams defense is tremendous with arguably the two best defensive players in the league in Donald and Ramsey. I think Brandon Staley is a great young defensive coordinator and I think the Rams will come out like a wounded animal. We'll be lucky to score 14 points...

    I agree that Kingsberry isn't going anywhere, but an epoch let down by our defense against a depleted Rams offense, could lead to changes on the defensive side of the ball, including the defensive coordinator, but I also agree that most likely there will be no changes regardless.

    You forgot Rashard Lawrence. The defensive line and safety positions are two areas where the Cards don't need to add a free agent or draft choice next year. Two corners and two linebackers are needed though. Four players away from being a good defense.

    Using the same logic we're a JV team for half our team since we're without 5 defensive starters. I guess we've got our JV defense verses the Rams' JV offense. Might be a good game, but I like their JV more than our JV, and of course they've got good coaches and we've got JV coaches to boot...

    Shanahan and his flat bill hat. He's a great coach. Also starting to think that Brandon Staley, the DC for the Rams, might be special.

    When a dual threat QB is no longer a dual threat

    Kyler should get better completing passes once he leaves the pocket. Teams work on the scramble drill where both quarterback and wide receivers learn to react together when the quarterback takes off from the pocket. I think missing the off-season practice sessions probably hurt the development...
