    Cardinal History

My recollection is that it was a ferocious sack at the hands of Lawrence Taylor that short-circuited Lomax's career. I know the hip injury caused him to retire, but he was never the same quarterback after that LT sack.

Wk 14- Arizona Cardinals @ New York Giants pre game thread

Kingsberry has seen this defensive approach from Miami and New England already. Third time is a charm and my bet is that Kingsberry and company have it figured out. Also, New York really isn't a very good football team. My gut tells me that the Cardinals win this one comfortably.

    Hicks and Allen

Zach Allen's first two years have been wrecked by injuries. His situation reminds a little bit of DJ Humphrey's first couple of years with injuries making it very difficult to access his future ability to be an NFL starter. I definitely haven't given up on Allen. Also consider that defensive...

Once and for all do we fire Keim poll

If they lose the rest of their games and finish 6-10, the wheels are off, but I still think Bidwill gives both another year. Next year will be the make or break it time for both.

    Hicks and Allen

Zach Allen has missed a lot time with a bad ankle and it has been a problem for him almost the entire season. I wouldn't be so quick to write him off long term.

Once and for all do we fire Keim poll

One more win out of the next four games earns both K2 and Keim another year. The only way Bidwill even considers replacing either of them is if they lose the next 4 and wind up 6-10. With a 7-9 record they show improvement over last year and both deserve one more year to complete the rebuild...

    Sweezy

Looking at the snaps that Gaillard got, I wonder if Kliff is considering replacing Cole with Gaillard. When the team gives game snaps to Murray and Gaillard I don't think that it is just to give them game experience without seriously considering them for a starting position.

    Sweezy

Murray has been inactive due to a hand injury and this was his first game back in a month. My guess is that Murray replaces him in the starting lineup next week.

    Kliff sticking with Zane

Who could ever forget Neil "Big Bird" O'Donoghue. The missed kick was a heart-breaker, but surprised no one.

    This Offseason

At this point, I think that Peterson is an average cornerback in the NFL. If he's willing to be paid like an average cornerback and not an elite cornerback, then I would be willing to sign him to a new 3 year contract. My guess is that Peterson grossly overestimates his value and leaves in...

    This Offseason

Using both free agency acquisitions and the draft, here's my priorities. 1. Cornerback 2. Cornerback 3. Running Back 4. Wide Receiver 5. Outside Linebacker 6. Inside Linebacker 7. Offensive Guard 8. Defensive Lineman

Murray looks scared to throw the ball downfield

We've taken the most athletic quarterback in the NFL and made him a sitting duck in the pocket. It's mind boggling how KK has neutered him and made him so easy to be defended. Seattle, New England, and now the Rams have all kept him in the pocket and made him an easy target.

If You Want KK Gone, Who Do You Want Hired?

I'd hire Robert Saleh from the 49er's or Brandon Staley from the Rams. I know that Staley is young and has only been a D-coordinator for one year, but damn the Rams defense is good. Both of these coaches know the NFC West and have been inspirational defensive coaches. Of course either hire...

    R I S E ___ U P ___ D A R K ___ S I D E (2020)

If Kliff isn't going to coach Murray to step up in the pocket because of his lack of height and limited vision, then he will have to slide the pocket or incorporate roll outs into the playbook. We make it way too easy for the defense to contain Murray in the pocket.

OT: Broncos will suit up and play without a QB tomorrow

In retrospect the Cardinals would have been better off playing lots of games without a quarterback. Ryan Lindley Max Hall John Navarre Stoney Case Tom Tuppa

    OT - Washington Football Team

How about the Washington Epidermis. It retains the former "skin" identity, but is absolutely identity neutral and non-offensive.

Cardinals at Seahawks gameday thread 11-19-20

Really worried about our waiver wire defensive line. I expect Seattle to feast on us both on the ground and in the air.

    Jordan Philips goes on IR

Our entire active defensive line now consists of waiver wire pickups made after the season started. We should of brought someone in a before our last game when we knew we had multiple players out on the D-line.

    My Wife

My thoughts and prayers are coming your way. My wife of 38 years has a neurological condition for which there is no known cure. It breaks my heart, but we keep the faith and keep loving one another. Never give up hope my friend.

Kyler's inability to throw on the run is a real issue

I was actually encouraged by Kyler's play outside of the pocket on Sunday. Finding receivers downfield when he's outside of the pocket is clearly not one of his strengths, but I believe that he is improving at it. He's starting to look downfield more when outside of the pocket and had a nice...

MIA vs ARI - Heroes and Goats (Abbreviated)

Not sure they were heroes, but I really liked what I saw from Markus Golden, Hasaan Reddick and Jalen Thompson yesterday. I wouldn't be surprised if we try to sign one or both of Golden and Reddick next year.

    Chase Edmunds is Overrated

Asking the diminutive Chase Edmonds to run between the tackles against a stout front seven is going to get you what we got, which is 70 yards on 25 carries, hardly a running game that will produce a victory. My beef isn't with Edmonds, but with KK calling his number twice between the tackles on...
