People and their motorcycles. They gov't should impose a huge tax on motorcycles like they do on cigarettes and beer, and help fund the healthcare plan.

The Unlikeliest of Scenarios: Cardinals draft Matt Kalil-OT-USC

I worry about giving up that much for an OT, or any OL for that matter. Not because I don't think Kalil will be very good, but because I don't think he'll improve much with Grimm coaching him. How much improvement have we seen out of any of our linemen the last 5 years, including Grimm's hand...

Dolphins | Would have cut Marshall had they not traded him

Nope, it was BPD. Reason I remember is because I know someone effected by it, and was encouraged when he came out and said he had it. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/08/01/brandon-marshall-has-bord_n_915521.html

Dolphins | Would have cut Marshall had they not traded him

Nobody knows if he is working at it or not. It takes time, but him coming out and admitting to it, tells me at least he has talked to professionals about it. Nobody knows about this disorder, except professionals, and those people who have recieved treatment for it.

Dolphins | Would have cut Marshall had they not traded him

Yup, I'd have been all over Marshall, TO, or Moss. I'd just sign them to 1 year deals at first though. Marshall has Borderline Personality Disorder, similar to Bipolar. It can be debilitating, but there is drug and behavior therapy that is very effective once you realize you have the...

Niners | Inquired about Mike Wallace who wants more money than Fitz!

I don't know, if he isn't signed by the draft and we can trade down with Cle or Cin, i'd certainly give up the 21st or 22nd pick for him (if we are allowed to do that), contract demands notwithstanding.

    Joke is on you, Dansby

I actually think Dansby and DWash would be dynamic together, they are both sound tacklers, good in coverage, can rush the passer some. Move them both inside, one inside one outside, or both outside depending on the package. I'm not suggesting we should have resigned Dansby for what Miami paid...

Dolphins | Alex Smith offered MONSTER deal

How is Smith not worth more than Flynn? And since when is 8 mil a year a monster deal, and near franchise QB level money? Isn't that what he was trying to get from the Niner's?

Cards Pay Kolb's Bonus, Restructure Contract

Well hindsight being 20/20 I tend to agree, but with the possibility of signing Manning I don't think the Cards felt they could afford 5 mil on Marshall. I tend agree with you, with Toler coming off injury, I would have felt better with him as the nickle back, and Marshall as second corner. If...

Cards Pay Kolb's Bonus, Restructure Contract

I'd think you would convert the roster bonus to signing bonus, save about 5 mil off the cap?

Titans Preparing for Peyton Manning Visit in next Day or Two

and you could be right, but still the structure can take on many forms, especially with the huge cap increase next year.

Titans Preparing for Peyton Manning Visit in next Day or Two

Yeah, I realize that as well. But you can easily structure PM's contract to reduce the first year cap charge by that 6 mil and push it into next year when the cap is going to go up significantly. Like 4 year contract, 20 mil signing bonus with 5 mil yearly salaries, and 5 mil roster bonus next...

Titans Preparing for Peyton Manning Visit in next Day or Two

Has it been said anywhere by the Cards FO that they need to have a decision by Kolb's bonus date. As CC has pointed out, cutting Kolb is only a 2m cap savings, and with Mannings neck issues, maybe they've planned all along to keep Kolb even if they sign Manning. If KW still feels Kolb can be a...

Moss to tryout for San Fran

He still has more deep speed than any reciever on our team

Moss to tryout for San Fran

I'd actually be interested in bringing in Moss on a one year deal. He'd be far better than Doucet, Roberts, and think Fitz could keep him in line for a year.

Here is one you haven't heard before

McCoy actually reminds me quite a bit of Brees, maybe not as good of an arm. Would have been a little optimistic to expect Brees production, but given the right circumstances, think he could put up similar numbers. If you look at Bree first few years in the leagu he put up numbers pretty close...

Cardinals | Might have interest in Kamerion Wimbley

Thats just writer speculation based on previous interest. Nothing from the Card's expressing interest, unless you think they tampered and then told a writer about it.

Here is one you haven't heard before

Not sure about him being overhyped, especially coming out of HS and his first year or two at UT. He was a 3 star recruit coming out of HS, and not many expected him to win the a starting job at UT, most thought it would be Jevan Snead who was a much ballyhoo'd 4 star recruit, that would take...

Here is one you haven't heard before

I think it may be a bit premature to call Colt horrible or lousy at this point. He's saddled with horrendous offensive weapons and has played Baltimore and Pittsburgh in about 25 percent of games started. Has also played a pretty good Cincy D twice, and very good SF and Hou Ds this year and...

Kolb - Why he may not be cut

You may be right!! But you also maybe blinded by your hatred of Kolb. I'm willing to give the staff the benefit of the doubt and trust that they saw something in Kolb they could develop, and hope that watching, playing with and learning from probably the most cerebral QB ever to play the...

Kolb - Why he may not be cut

A smart organization would keep Kolb given the difference in cap implications, especially given the health questions and age of Manning. Even if we do sign him, he's good for 3 more years maybe, then we'd have the big part of Kolbs contract behind us. Kolb would have 3 years of learning from...

Which FAs should Cards go after

This is along the lines of what I was thinking, although I'd substitute Spencer or Tullock for Haggens, and Colston for Garcon. I know he doesn't have the speed Garcon does, but he's a better reciever, I'd be fine with either, but if I had my choice it would be Colston. Would also love to add...

    Poll: Peyton Manning

Levi isn't under contract and I don't believe Porter is either, so they aren't on the books anyway. Kolb obviously....Dockett?? Wilson?? Don't resign CC?? 35 million is alot of space to clear (without knowing our cap situation for next year). That being said, Manning has always restructured...

    Poll: Peyton Manning

For those wanting to trade for him, who do you cut to get under the cap if he refuses to reduce his 35 million cap hit? Haven't seen the numbers for next year yet, but that would probably put us up against it if not over. I'm all for renting Manning for a year or 3, but no way do I take on...
