I'm calling a win tomorrow based on an irrational hope. C'mon!

How do you feel about the Solanke rumors? I've really liked what I've seen from him in the Bournemouth games I've watched this season, but I know some are uncertain because of the limited sample size of good play. I would personally love to see him at Newcastle, but Bournemouth may ask for way...

This Forest loss seems to have been a turning point for many fans in Newcastle. Where before there was reluctance to criticize Howe, I'm seeing more and more YouTubers (this is my only access to fans within the Toon) getting fed up with the excuses. I'm not a long time fan, so I'm not sure what...

Another gut punch in the Carabao Cup and another bad defensive error by Trippier. People are starting to point out that he hasn't been the same since he left England for "personal reasons." Who knows, but this season has been a bit rough so far.

It was there for the taking, and we blew it. So bummed.

Defensive lapses continue. Both Milan goals were from a player left completely uncovered.

I did not get to watch the Tottenham game because it wasn't on peacock till Monday, and after I saw the score I didn't feel like watching. There have been so many ups and downs so far this season. I have no idea what to expect tomorrow. It'll be good to be back at St. James, that's for sure. I...

Rough ending for Trippier. Ugh, that was brutal. Our away form has been so bad this year. Makes me a bit terrified of Sunday. Will Hall finally make an appearance? The midweek game against Milan should take precedence over the game against Tottenham. Unfortunately, I don't see us doing well in both.

I just don't understand how a ref who seemed to be standing firm throughout the game would capitulate at the end. I thought for sure he would uphold his original ruling except they never seem to when they go look at the screen. Why does looking at the screen always seem to be an automatic...

So ticked off after that equalizer. Our guys were gassed and for that garbage to be the way they equalize...just disappointing. I guarantee, if you gave PSG 50 more shots at goal they would have missed all of them. Couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. Good point, but I was hoping for 3 after...

Beautiful first half coupled with a bit of luck has us up 1-0! I've been impressed with Almiron going forward. Livramento has been excellent. I think Isak could easily have 2 goals already, but I'm hoping for more second half. C'mon!!!

Great result. I was a bit worried after Joelinton missed the easy header, but we played well all game. It was good to see Trippier back on top of his game, and having Isak back was a huge plus.

I'd like to see them keep Trippier on the right and try Livramento on the left

I haven't been able to watch the game yet, but Newcastle definitely need this international break. I hope Trippier doesn't start for England, to be honest. He seems like he needs a rest as much as anyone. Ultimately, I guess we need more depth to compete in both the Prem and in Europe, but this...

    Lakers @ Suns Friday game thread, 11-10-2023 - In-Season Tournament Game #1

It's going to be a long season of adjustments. Hopefully we can get it together by the All Star break and finish strong. Lots of frustrating play thus far.

Milan takes the win over PSG. A win today would have put Newcastle top of the group. Instead, they are in the cellar. Will need two wins and for things to fall our way.

Yeah. I think Gordon is a bit gassed as well, so maybe better for him to give it his all and provide a burst of energy for a brief time off the bench.

Interesting lineup with Gordon and Almiron coming off the bench. Lewis Hall starting. I'm excited to see what this group does.

Haha. Such a pleasant surprise to find this board here. I've become a huge Newcastle fan over the past year, and I thought, "I wonder if there's any Premier League talk on this board..." Only to find this! Big game against Dortmund tomorrow. Injuries seem almost insurmountable, but you never...

I take back what I said. We are still in it. You can't win without scoring a run, so let's get five! Fantastic work by Ginkel
