Fair question. Depends on how it's judged. From a talent standpoint we'll likely lose it. That isn't to say we can't add players who fit better. The financials are another aspect.

We can sign Gillepsie to a 4 year deal this summer. I'm not 100% he can get a 4 year deal since he's not an actual rookie but the main point is any deal the Suns can offer now is the same as they can offer this summer. Giving him a spot now is using a roster spot before we need to. We would then...

I disagree. We were a 2nd apron already and Ishbia was committed to spending. Beyond the salary, Beal is a good player. The coaching staff can't let his salary dictate his role. If he doesn't like the role or sitting while he's hurt then he can waive his no trade clause. No deal is untradable...

They need to sit him until he's healthy. He needs to recognize this isn't the Wizards and we don't rely on him like they did. We're not even 10 games into the season so no one should be rushed into action.

They can't afford to look much beyond this year given the second apron. There's nothing they can do now that they can't this off-season. They're utilizing their spots the best they can. They aren't going to find a better two-way player that can contribute to the main squad than Gillepsie and...

Suns had a bad 4th quarter. Being outscored by a bad team 32-16 is inexcusable. Need to play better. Thankfully they had a 20+ point lead headed in.

I didn't see but the camera angles weren't great. Did Ayton dap up with Booker or anyone after the final buzzer?

Hield is in a great spot and a good replacement for Klay, offensively. He's been on a half dozen teams so his offense is nothing knew. I believe he's made the 2nd most 3's over the last 7 or 8 years, only behind Steph and he surpassed Klay at some point.

Camara hurts. He's a legit PF. Portland has found him more useful than Ayton. He looked really good in summer league also. A forward pairing of Dunn and Camara sounds great.

Ryan Dunn - the Real Deal or Beginner's Luck?

Dunn wears glasses when he's interviewed coming and going from the training facility. I wonder if he has some vision issues that weren't properly addressed in college. As others have said, he doesn't miss badly or dramatically right or left. Almost all of his misses are too soft with maybe half...

Way too early to make that call but this team shows more tenacity for sure. I'm certain people believed we'd turn it all around for at least half of last season. I'm not sure when the tide turned but I'd say around the All-Star Break or trade deadline is when the majority of Suns fans saw...

Think you're wrong on when he re-signed. From what I've found he resigned June 29th, so the last day eligible before free agency opened up. He signed a 2 year deal that is only guaranteed for $250k in year 2, so basically nothing. It was a $25m over 2 years and he's making $12.65 this season and...

We can go lower. Grayson's cap hit is $15.6, I believe. So we can go lower but not higher. You can sort salaries on Spotrac. Bobby Portis is who I'd want the most that fits that criteria. The below is just PF's. You can view C's also. Of course rookies or rookie contracts like Paolo aren't...

It will be easier to make these decisions when we hit December 15th, or whatever the date around there is when players signed in the off-season can be dealt. Then we'll have a better idea of how everyone is playing in this system and who might be expendable.

Hopefully Grayson made a strong enough impression on other teams because he's our best trade chip. If Dunn and O'Neale can keep up their level of play then there's no minutes available for Grayson. Once Beal returns there will be fewer minutes to go around as well. We need a strong rebounding...

Harden is good at forcing whistles. If Dunn wasn't a rookie though then Harden wouldn't be getting as many FT attempts.
