5 out of 6 games today are blowouts with an average score of 21-7 at the half. 2nd round of games today look like better matchups but man, the early games have been hard to watch so far.
Lions and Chiefs are bad but are both showing great signs of improvement. There's no good reason for the Bills to not be competitive. Rams, Raiders and Browns are just bad beyond description.
It'd be nice to see the Twins have some success and I'm from New York so I still like to see the Yankees win. Can't stand the Dodgers and Red Sox and I don't want the Rockies to win it either.
Aeneas Williams disagrees with this train of thought. Right now I'll take Fitz over any other active WR but don't short change Johnson based on most of the other 52 players on his team not being up to snuff.
2007 the Lions got off to a very impressive 6-2 start. After that they won 1 out of their next 26 games. Last year the Cards had a good season and playoff run and still need to prove they're legit. I'm not jumping on or off any bandwagons after 4 games.
I'm going to have to pick this up when I get my cast off. I don't know if I've seen a game get such good reviews before. Even the Zero Punctuation guy had trouble finding things to make fun of.
Top notch pass rushers are rarely ever available in free agency. It happens once in a while but not enough to make it a sound strategy. In the next draft we should get a pass rusher in the first round. We can't continue to rely on projects and free agents.
I haven't watched a whole lot of...
I think DRC bought in to his own hype too much. There were several articles over the offseason mentioning him along with the leagues rising young stars. With all the talk about his apparent path to stardom it seems like he thought he was already there.
For the game, Jax was 37% on 3rd down. 6/16 overall. I think they were 4/5 in the 4th which means that when Leinart was put in they were at about 2/11, 19%, for the game up to that point.
Fitz routinely catches throws that are very high which is why he is considered to have the best hands in the league. Let's not start acting like Matt is the only one who makes him jump for the ball.
