    Todays STUDS!

I've been saying for a couple of years now that Hayes is the most underrated player on the team. He's not spectacular but is the most consistent player on the D.

Whis and putting Matty in the game

Defense only allowed 7 points in the 4th and 17 total. Not as bad a performance as it's being made out to be. We're just so used to the defense blowing leads to lose games.

Whis and putting Matty in the game

It was the end of the 3rd, not midway and there was a 3 TD lead.

The Way This Entire O Has Played Today?

Could you imagine what the board reaction would have been like it Warner got hurt while we had a 3 TD lead? Everyone played great today. Kurt looked healthy and comfortable. If he stays healthy all year I can't imagine us not winning the division again.

The official gameday "GO BIG RED" Thread!!

Defense is doing an amazing job today of everyone sticking to their assignments. When Garrard scrambles guys are keeping him in front of them and forcing him to throw the ball away.

Check out the average age of that group. Plus, the OL only has 1 old guy. Future looks goooooood.

    He's listed at 6'1" 236. He's a QB in a FB's body.

Garrard has to be one of the strongest QBs in the league.

Adrian Peterson lead the league in fumbles last year. Tiki Barber had a fumble problem when he became a starter. It's a correctable problem.

Alan Branch didn't get the sack but he hustled his ass off on that play. He's been earning some PT this year.

The DARKSIDE says Warner is DONE!

That was entirely due to their defense. The offense, specifically QB, was just as good as the year before.

    Stacked at wide receiver... Hogwash.

I don't recall seeing Boldin half assing it while he was on the field. I do remember one play where he had his guy beat by a step on a crossing route and Warner put it on his back hip where the DB could get a hand on it.

    Our Fearless Leader

That was a total douche move on his part. I forget, did he take a physical for SF or just show up for a tour?

    Stacked at wide receiver... Hogwash.

The WRs would have looked better today if Kurt wasn't constantly throwing over and behind them.

    Our Fearless Leader

If he doesn't turn it around this is how he'll be remembered, not the great season he just had. After the Superbowl everyone was saying he's now a HOF lock. He should have left his legacy at that. During his time in NY and his first 3 years here no one cared about his accomplishments in STL.

The DARKSIDE says Warner is DONE!

The thing about Warner is that every year he's good for a game or two where he throws 5 picks and looks horrible. However, those games would be sandwiched between a string of games where he played like an MVP. It always has been a matter of "just one bad game" with him. What's disturbing is...

Give some props to the D-----

DD was a beast today. During at least one play today he was halfway across the line before the rest of the guys on both lines were even out of their stance.

    Kurt, how you feeling?

Pride comes before the fall. We all love the warrior mentality and criticize guys who don't play hurt but playing through performance affecting injuries doesn't help the team.

Crucial Decisions This Week and Beyond

My personal theory with Warner is that he stands too close under center. As you said, he's practically diving at the RBs for handoffs and we've seen him trip over his center plenty of times. Also, if you watch his feet pre-snap when it's a pass play he sticks his left leg way back so he can...
