    That's not true. Manning and his family were contacted by someone with the team and were told that they didn't want to go there because of problems within the organization. This was while Schottenheimer and GM AJ Smith were fighting over control of the organization.

    I'd be more comfortable with DA if he was throwing the ball about 20 times a game instead of 30+. I like the idea of using him mostly for throwing deep to keep the safeties back and running more but I think Whiz is determined to keep running the same offense that we had with Warner.
