    Many European countries absolutely had Covid payments. Netherlands, UK, Denmark, Belgium, France, Spain, Germany, etc... were covering anywhere between 50% to 90%(for most it was 80% or 90%) of paychecks for businesses impacted by the Government forced closures and lockdowns.

    I tend to agree with this. Except for the time we had to endure Derek Anderson, John Skelton, Max Hall. That was painful and the "floor" was somewhere way below the basement.

    You think Denver will be that bad with Payton? If he can get Wilson playing even at a mediocre level, the team could be pretty good, especially if the defense continues to play well. Hackett was just awful for that offense, but I do think Russell was a significant factor obviously

    Kind of need to see free agency, draft, and especially who the starting QB will be for likely 1/3rd of the season. Right now I'm guessing 6-11. Team is horrible in beginning but plays better towards end of season, hopefully showing promise for year 2 under Gannon.

    No matter who we hired I probably would vote hopeful(ok, maybe excited if it was Payton). He is an unknown but I prefer to be optimistic until his performance shows otherwise(probably know more in year 2, because year 1 will be rough)

    I hope he eventually gets another shot as OC. Would be fun to see how the offense does with his full attention and not having to focus on HC stuff. I suppose he could also go back to the college level.(or I'm sure some high school would definitely hire him, lol)
