MCU: Spider-Man 3: No Way Home

100%. I just saw it now that it's on streaming platforms. My expectations were to like it but it far exceeded that, it may even be my favorite superhero movie now. It's certainly up there with The Dark Knight in terms of stand alone comic book movies imo. I absolutely loved how they were able...

Robert Sarver is in Big Trouble (ANNOUNCES SALE PROCESS)

As much as I'd love to be done with Sarver I still think he deserves due process, if the NBA is still investigating leads and doesn't have enough evidence of wrong doing I really don't see what Sharpton's angle is other than to get himself in the spotlight.

    2021-22 Around the NBA Thread

Yeah, that is really the only option. Trading Westbrook for an equally bad contract but Houston has no reason to make the move without incentive since they don't really care one way or the other.

I'm not advocating for it but it's better than the negative contracts the Lakers could offer.

They were thinking of having a potential 48m in cap space to rebuild the team around Dame.

    2021-22 Around the NBA Thread

They got more than the Lakers could offer, mostly cap space. Lakers have 5 players making more than the min, unless you're advocating for them to trade either LeBron or AD they have no realistic way for trading for someone making 30mil+ per year without including Russ who is an extreme negative...

Robert Sarver is in Big Trouble (ANNOUNCES SALE PROCESS)

I never knew the Nelson's but I remember their time in the Valley and I've always held them in the same regard as JC. It could all be a façade but I'm more inclined to believe Donnie. Hopefully the truth comes to light and the whomever is in the wrong pays dearly. I think if Donnie wasn't...

Robert Sarver is in Big Trouble (ANNOUNCES SALE PROCESS)

Here is the filing, again far more dirt than anything that has come to light from Sarver. True or not one of these parties is absolute scum...

Suns updates and discussion for the 2021-22 season

I always felt this as well but his USG is actually well below most other ball dominate all-stars. He had a couple of years with LAC where it was in the 27 range but mostly it has been in the mid to low 20s(same a SSOL Nash) and this year he's had a career low 20.0. Most really ball dominate...

Don't forget he would have drafted Russell Wilson had he been in charge. If only he was at good at drafting after he became GM as he was before he became GM.

Cuban says hold my beer. https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/ex-mavs-gm-donnie-nelson-sues-team-alleges-he-was-fired-for-reporting-sexual-assault-mark-cuban-denies-it/ It is interesting the NBA was apparently fine with the Mavs conducting their own investigation and didn't deem it necessary to...

I'll celebrate if any team hires Mark Jackson as coach just to get him off broadcasting, but a division rival, especially the Lakers? all the better.

Lakers @ Suns Sunday game thread 3-13-2022

Cherry on top was LeBron not even getting back on D after the strip. His lack of effort on getting back has to be super frustrating for his team since he'll still put up his numbers and throw everyone else under the bus because of it.

    The Ayton Plan

I might be misreading but max contracts are just a % of the cap from the date it is signed, the raises on the contract are capped at either 7.5% or 5% depending if the player signs with the home team or a different team.

Lakers @ Suns Sunday game thread 3-13-2022

I think deep down the Suns know they got lucky with AD sitting out this game.

Suns @ Heat Wednesday game thread 3-9-2022

This is wrong, maybe he meant in Miami but the Suns beat them by 20 last year and even if he means over 20 point wins the Suns throttled them at least once with the Nash led teams where they were up by ~40 at half and won by nearly ~30.

    #1 seed magic number watch

Plus the sooner it's locked up the more freedom it gives to resting players and giving guys like Holiday more time to get comfortable.

Kingsbury and Keim get contract extensions

I can see giving a short extension just to give them 1 more fair shot at it without being a lame duck, but this seems beyond excessive. At least the Cards should be entertaining prior to the Suns season starting.

Rockets @ Suns Wednesday game thread 2-16-2022

He talked about it on the JJ Reddick podcast but he is extremely claustrophobic and hates being in MRI machines. The place he goes in Cali has a machine he can just put his arm in, instead of his whole body and will always fly there for MRIs.

Inject Positive Suns Media Into My veins

Suns didn't get any awards last year outside James Jones getting Exec of the Year and Paul getting All-NBA 2nd team. Booker wasn't even selected as an All-Star until they started with injury replacements.

He already signed his extension. Those qualifiers only apply to players signing their first extension, after that every player qualifies based on years of service.

Signings, Trades, Rumors including Suns and NBA

The guy I'd be targeting is Cory Joseph, seems like a better fit all things considered and his price tag shouldn't be too high. I'd also love to end up with Batum if the Clippers turn into sellers and he opts for either a buyout or if the Suns can sneak into a deal like they did with Craig last...

Signings, Trades, Rumors including Suns and NBA

The poison pill restriction doesn't prevent him from being traded it just adds a layer of complexity. The bigger problem is a lack of tradeable assets that are needed for a significant upgrade since the outgoing salary would be attach to players with negative value. The more I think of Jalen...

    DBook: D stands for defense

Drtg is pretty simple it's just the oppositions points scored per 100 possessions while you are on the court. Good defensive bigs will always have the biggest impact on opposition points allowed based on the role they play. Jokic being #4 isn't that surprising since he has always been a decent...

    DBook: D stands for defense

It is. They are using a minimum of 2k minutes played and Ayton is under 900 minutes so far. His Drtg is 102 which would be 2nd best on the list. Edit- with even fewer minutes played McGee is at 100 and Bismack is at 101.
