    Sarver didn't stop Jones from giving Shamet 10 mil next year. My guess is there is a directive to limit tax spending, but I doubt it was Sarver told Jones not to pick up the 3rd year. Jones has missed on a number of transactions but it's hard to argue with the overall results.

    Yeah, Jones wanted to overhaul the team with pieces that fit even at the cost of losing value, just like shedding Warren for a 2nd. Hard to argue with the results even if Melton has developed into a solid player and Warren plays like a stud for stretches at a time.

    I have 0 doubt there is far more dirt on at the very least Snyder(you know the guy who was actually the reason for the investigation) than there was released on Gruden to get him ousted. Until there is full transparency on the investigation it will always smell like a cover up.

    I don't know but this is where my head is at as well. Ever since around game 2-3 where it was clear to me Murray has taken the leap my primary concern has been ensuring he gets the best protection possible even at the risk of limiting the ability to fill other holes.
