What Year, Team, and Age that you First became an NFL Season Ticket Holder

Sadly, die hard fans are being run out of the league. For example, the 3 seasons my wife and I had Eagles season tickets, it was $1,500-$1,700 for seats on top of the light stanchions. Then there's the additional $350(if you bought the pass)-$400 for parking. That's over $2,000 a season just to...

This reminded me of the old WHA and the Jersey Knights who played at the old Cherry Hill Arena who's facilities were so spartan that visiting teams had to dress at their hotel.

Cardinals may use shotgun formation exclusively or close to it

I'd like to believe this but Bill Bidwill was never interested in winning. Even if we moved to Baltimore or if the Eagles moved to Phoenix and we moved into Philly, I don't believe our fortunes would have been any better. He just wanted a competitive team but not a championship team.

Cardinals may use shotgun formation exclusively or close to it

Since I started rooting for this team(1975), this team has had 12 winning season. 12. To put that into perspective, the Patriots currently have 18 consecutive winning seasons(and 6 Super Bowl championships) while we had at one time 23 consecutive non-winning seasons(2 seasons at .500) and it...

So in other words unless you're a card carrying kool aid drinking Stepford, you're not a real fan. Gotcha.

Cardinals may use shotgun formation exclusively or close to it

Some of us have walked through several miles of crap. With the amount of abuse I've taken over the years of sticking by this team even though for decades they showed no interest in winning grants me the right to speak of this team in any manner I choose.

Jim Brown would have had similar numbers behind this offensive line.

OT-These Things Usually Happen In Threes

First it was Bart Starr and now Bill Buckner passes away. 69. Way too young. https://sports.yahoo.com/red-sox-legend-bill-buckner-dies-at-age-69-from-dementia-per-report-175409047.html

    The Perfect Storm

Sometimes I wish I knew what it felt like to root for a dynasty but if you're not a fan of those teams, winning a title is more appreciated. Like, I can't imagine what it's like to be a Nationals fan or a fan of most teams in the NBA.

Oh, believe me. If Murray doesn't prove to be the 2nd coming some people are going need to be talked down from the ledge.

    NFL Boredom Time

To make it worse, in about 2 weeks all we're going to have is baseball and if you're into it, the dying league that is the Arena Football League(how they're still operating is a mystery).

    The Perfect Storm

So you haven't moves into that battered Cardinal fan syndrome yet. The Cards are the only team I root for that hasn't won a championship and I fear that I'm going to suffer the same fate as many Cub and Red Sox and now Indian fans have done and that's die without my team winning a title in my...

    The Perfect Storm

I'm in the same boat in Phillies social media sites because I don't line up to fellate Bryce Harper and his 357 strike outs so far this season and if you dare criticize him you're not a real fan. Nothing turns my stomach more than a flavor-aid drinking Stepford fans.

Threads like these are 2 fold and both have the same message between both camps: If Murray doesn't transcend the game to the point that they start chiseling his likeness on Mt. Rushmore, they might need to create a new suicide hotline just for those in the "Murray is God" camp. The same can be...

    OT: RIP Bart Starr

Legendary Packers QB Bart Starr passed away at the age of 85. He led the Packers to 5 NFL championships and the first 2 Super Bowls. He was also a 2 time Super Bowl MVP. https://www.packers.com/news/packers-legend-bart-starr-dies-at-85

With Luck the Colts are 53-33 and average 10 wins a season(removing his injury plagued 2015 season). Without him they went 4-12 in a full season. But watch, Solar, some troll might accuse you of flinging feces.

OK...and I won't cherry pick stats. I'll just put them out there: Andrew Luck Games-86 W/L-53-33-0 Attempts-3290 Completions-2000 %-60.8 Yards-23671(4 seasons of 4,000+ yards) TD-171 INT-83 Ave. YPG-275.2 And he missed most of 1 season as well as the entire 2017 season. Russell Wilson...

You can't believe this because, quite frankly, it's nonsense. Luck is a far superior QB than Wilson. You put Luck on Seattle and the Seahawks would have won multiple Super Bowls. Even the one Seattle won with Wilson was due to their defense. Seattle scored 43 points. Wilson had 206 yards...

Being to 2 Super Bowls isn't any kind of barometer. If winning a SB makes a QB then we should expect the HOF induction of Trent Dilfer and Jim McMahon at any moment? Truth is, neither time Seattle went to the Super Bowl was it done on Wilson's back.
