    They have like a top 5 net rating all time. It would be a massive failure if they didn't win it all. The 2016 Spurs and 2016 Warriors are the only teams I can find that had a net rating of +10 or more that didn't win the title.

    I mean defense has probably been our main problem. That and not having much outside of those two. Their mid range scoring hasn't been the problem..

    Except they both have a TS% north of 61%. If they weren't uber efficient from the midrange it would be bad (look at someone like DeRozen for example). The ability to hit the midrange shot also has a lot of value in the postseason when the game slows down quite a bit.

    Gotta try to find that balance that existed in the early 90s. The average team was scoring around 105 ppg and defensive players weren't at such a disadvantage.

    I have to disagree on this. Pay close attention to LeBron's play and you will see him carrying the ball all the time, constantly taking extra steps and gets away with a ton of what should be offensive fouls. His game would suffer a lot if these things were enforced.

    Refs are almost never as bad or inconsistent as fans make them out to be. Of course they do have some really bad blunders, but we haven't only been on the losing end of those blunders. There is probably at least 2-3 fouls or non calls per game where a lot of people on the board are up in arms...
